General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, November 24, reveals that Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will solve a mystery she’s been pondering while Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) stalks TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) at work. Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will also cause some Thanksgiving chaos, so some great GH drama’s on the way.
Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will still be reeling over his “dead” father showing up alive out of nowhere. He won’t feel comfortable opening up to anyone except Portia, so she’ll get updates and realize she no longer has to wonder about the mystery man in that sketch.
Marshall recalled the last birthday gift he gave Curtis when he was just a little boy. It was a toy lawn mower that Curtis kept long after he’d outgrown it.
Something shifted when Marshall recalled that tidbit from the past. It looked like it finally registered for Curtis that this was indeed the father he lost.
Marshall also offered an old family photo that would’ve been hard for him to get if he weren’t the real deal.
Curtis may reveal all this proof to Portia and admit he’s accepted that Marshall isn’t dead – at least not in the traditional sense. Even so, Marshall is still dead to Curtis since he can’t get past all the cruel deception.
Portia will mostly listen and provide support, but she might wonder if Curtis really wants to pass up this chance to reconnect. At the very least, Curtis could get answers to some lingering questions if he truly heard Marshall out.
At GH, Marshall will seek help from TJ. Perhaps Marshall will want TJ to put in good word for him with Curtis and try to score another opportunity to talk.
TJ may be fed up with Marshall for following everyone around, especially if he realizes Marshall let Curtis believe he was dead.
In other words, Marshall may face a roadblock when he goes to TJ for assistance. As for Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth), he’ll speak with Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) now that she’s seen the light about Leo Falconeri (Easton Rocket Sweda).
Olivia gets that Leo probably has autism and could use a specialist to steer him down the path that’s right for him.
It took a long time for Olivia to stop living in denial, but Leo’s scare following the art exhibit knocked some sense into her. Olivia will be sorry for how she treated Austin and will want to get Leo in with the recommended specialist ASAP.
Over with Brook Lynn, she’ll have to break some bad news to Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) – though she’ll really just be piling on the lies.
Ned will find out Brook Lynn deceived Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) for control of ELQ shares and then let him keep believing “Bailey Quartermaine” aka Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) was his daughter.
After Ned lectures Brook Lynn for being cruel, he’ll push her to share the name of the true father.
Brook Lynn can’t tell the truth since it’d put Louise in danger, so she’ll stick with the plan and claim Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) is the real deal.
Of course, it’s possible Chase will show up and divulge that part of the story to Ned, but he’ll have to spread the word to Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) first.
Finn will struggle to wrap his head around the idea that Chase is a dad, but he should eventually welcome his brother to the club.
Being a dad is one of the most rewarding things Finn has ever experienced, so he may give Chase some daddy tips and talk about how excited Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) is going to be.
By the time Chase leaves Finn’s office, he should be feeling guilty about the lie that’s already snowballing.
Finally, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will experience an exciting milestone as a couple. It’ll be their first Thanksgiving together, but that could bring some awkward family moments and grilling sessions.
Sam will pretend she’s anxious, but she may ultimately laugh it off and insist they can handle whatever comes their way – whether that’s Sam’s inquisitive sisters or Dante’s meddling mother!
General Hospital spoilers say Sam will face a difficult blow in the coming episodes since Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has been presumed dead, but she’ll focus on some Thanksgiving happiness for now.
