General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, October 20, teases that escaped Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will pose a threat to Port Charles, so Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will face a scary revelation. Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will also offer some advice to Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth), so here’s what viewers can expect.
At GH, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will deliver an invitation – presumably to Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) since spoilers point to an uncomfortable interaction between the two of them.
Finn and Liz will still be trying to nail down a less awkward relationship, but maybe another trivia night or two could help.
However, Finn will soon have more important things on his mind. Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) will get a shocking phone call and offer Finn updates soon after.
It looks like Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) may relay a message through Terry about the chaos that just went down in Crete, so Finn and Liz should find out Peter August (Wes Ramsey) is on the loose.
Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) got the scoop on Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) being held hostage before facing another presumed death.
Jason also found out Peter and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) had disappeared, so he’s ready to make the trip to Greece with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).
Jason will let Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) know all that, but they may not mind that Jason’s going to be away for a bit.
This will give Sonny and Carly a chance to reconnect alone, which is good since Sonny was upset over Jason and Carly’s marriage taking a real turn.
Before Carly and Sonny can focus on rebuilding their marriage, they’ll consider Peter’s perplexing plan. Carly won’t get why Peter would sit on the news that Drew’s alive for so long.
That’s something Peter could’ve used as a bargaining chip, but Sonny may assume Peter had a far more nefarious plot that required Drew’s captivity.
Now Peter’s scheme is in full swing since he’s activated Drew’s programming and is forcing him to do dangerous, destructive things.
Drew’s presumed death will buy Peter a little more time to plot his next move, but he could land back in Port Charles with the conditioned killer eventually.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will confide in Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), so he’ll hear the most recent “CarSon” details and offer guidance.
As for Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), he’ll still be fuming over Nina’s decision to keep Sonny away from Carly and all his other loved ones for months.
Since Michael will have such a hard time letting go of his anger, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will remind him that he’s Nina’s boss and wonder if that arrangement can really work anymore.
Michael may confess that it’s going to be tough, but perhaps he’ll try to ignore Nina as best as he can and keep things professional.
Across town, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will encourage Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) to focus on what really matters to him.
Austin is working hard to get what he feels his father was owed, but there’s a price to pay now that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) has the upper hand.
Austin could lose his medical license if he doesn’t surrender, so Maxie will want him to be careful here. She’ll question if Austin’s fight for ELQ shares is worth it when he has so much to lose.
As for Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), they’ll have a disastrous dinner.
Leo Falconeri (Easton Rocket Sweda) will be the topic of conversation, but Olivia and Ned just won’t be able to find common ground.
From where Olivia’s standing, Ned will just want to pay Leo’s issues away through fancy doctors.
Olivia won’t think Leo has issues at all since he’s a happy kid, but Ned will think he could be happier if he worked with a specialist to communicate.
Since Olivia and Ned will reach an impasse, it’ll leave Olivia wondering if there’s really any hope for her marriage.
Divorce will become a very real thought in Olivia’s mind, so Ned may fear the worst! We’ll keep you posted as other info comes in.
