General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, September 1, reveals that Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will make a wild discovery while Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) strikes a dangerous deal. “Mike” aka Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will also tempt Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) more than ever before, so let’s talk about what’s ahead.
First, Cyrus will push Mr. Buscema (Bart Tangredi) to commit to his scheme. He’ll want to know he has a 100-percent devoted ally or else this partnership isn’t going to work.
Of course, Mr. Buscema should insist he’s on board – and that can only mean trouble for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright).
Carly will definitely battle her nerves in Wednesday’s episode, but she’ll hope Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) can come through for her in a time of crisis.
Before Brando steps up to deal with Carly’s drama, he’ll have an awkward moment with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson).
Brando will drop a hint about doing something Sasha didn’t think he was ready for, but the truth is Brando seems ready for almost anything that involves preparing for their bundle of joy.
It’s clear that Brando’s looking forward to fatherhood and wants to keep building a future with Sasha.
Unfortunately, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) will cause problems with her meddling ways and a new plot that’s about to form. In Nixon Falls, Nina and Sonny’s dinner will lead to growing temptation.
It looks like Nina will consider hitting the sheets with “Mike,” but she’ll pull back and try to shut down the passionate encounter.
However, Sonny is a big fan of living in the here and now – especially since Lenny Caulfield’s (Rif Hutton) life was cut tragically short.
“Mike” will push Nina to put her fears aside and focus on what she’s feeling, so we’ll see if they end up taking their relationship to the next level.
Back in Port Charles, a different dinner will lead to a shocker for Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).
Josslyn will treat Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) to that surprise meal she’s prepared – and she’ll no doubt mention the special sauce Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) has been raving over.
Since Joss has had Sonny’s marinara plenty of times, she’s sure to find it familiar once she finally takes a bite.
Near the camp site, Liz and Finn will face a serious bombshell.
It seems likely Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) will plop in the water since he was about to be thrown from a plane when GH left off.
General Hospital spoilers say Scott will be saved by people he recognizes, so Liz and Finn should be the ones who help him out.
Over with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), she won’t understand what exactly Jason and Carly need to prove.
Britt will continue to grapple with her feelings for Jason, but she’ll get that he’s all in on this fast wedding and big commitment to Carly.
Later, Britt will get updates on Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) vanishing act, so it sounds like Scott will sound the alarm.
