General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, September 15, tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will fight to free Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) from the fire at The Tan-O – and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will have a big boss talk in captivity. Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) terror over Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) situation will also grow, so here’s what you can expect.
First, Drew will be thrown back in his cell and will no doubt suffer another beating for his latest escape attempt – especially since he helped Nurse Chloe Jennings (Phoebe Kuhlman) get away.
As Drew bickers with the guard assigned to him, he’ll get a hint about who might be in charge.
“Is that who your big boss is?” Drew asks in Wednesday’s preview video. His tone is irate and somewhat skeptical, so it may be more of a sarcastic comment than a reaction to who’s actually running the show.
Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) is obviously the true “big boss,” but GH may not reveal that to Drew just yet.
As for Britt, she’ll grow increasingly worried about Liesl and the dire trouble she must be in.
Britt will confide in Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), who may argue that Liesl has a knack for getting the upper hand and annihilating her enemies.
“The odds are actually in her favor,” Maxie says with a shrug on Wednesday’s preview clip. She may try to reassure Britt by arguing that Liesl will crush any enemy she’s encountered and find her way back to Port Charles.
Of course, GH fans know Liesl’s being held hostage by Victor, but she’ll keep working on a strategy to gain control of the situation.
In the meantime, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will assure Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) that she’s in on whatever Terry wants to do. Liz always has Terry’s back, so we’ll see what team effort they might cook up.
At Spring Ridge, Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) will remain on edge despite Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) insistence that they’re merely looking for help.
Harmony will still be defensive as she faces questions about Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) and what he knew about who Peter August (Wes Ramsey) used to take Drew’s plane down.
Sam may call Harmony out for acting nervous and wonder if she’s really as innocent as she seems. “Well, then tell me you had nothing to do with it!” Sam argues in Wednesday’s preview video.
Harmony’s desire to stay on this positive path seems genuine, so she may be worried about getting dragged down by her past again.
However, a little cooperation could go a long way when it comes to helping Drew. If Harmony knows anything at all, she needs to spill.
Next, Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) will share a congratulatory conversation with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) ahead of his wedding.
They’ll be dressed for the happy occasion as Spinelli gushes over the nuptials and insists he couldn’t imagine it any other way.
Spinelli won’t think there’s a better man than Jason for Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) now that Sonny is gone.
However, Sonny isn’t gone for good since he’s alive and well in Nixon Falls.
There’ll be time for Sonny to reclaim his old life later, but his priority right now has to be saving Nina and Phyllis.
Sonny just found The Tan-O on fire with Phyllis and Nina trapped inside, so he’ll do everything in his power to rescue them.
In a frantic and heroic move, Sonny will grab a chair to break a door down and hopefully find a safe rescue path.
Back in Port Charles, Carly will get all dolled up for her wedding and share some sweet moments with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) before the ceremony. Carly will admit she’s so excited even though she has no idea what’s coming!
As for Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), he’ll tackle a tough conversation with Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero).
Ned will likely bring up Leo Falconeri’s (Easton Rocket Sweda) level of introversion and how it might be a good idea to get him a specialist to help the boy communicate.
Since Ned won’t be completely honest with Olivia, that could mean he won’t reveal the idea came from Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth).
Regardless, Olivia may balk at the notion of her son needing extra help and remain in denial about Leo’s issues.
General Hospital spoilers say Ned and Olivia will face more issues in their marriage due to this Leo situation, so stay tuned.
