General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, September 29, tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will find out Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) dumped Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) for Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) while Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) learns she’ll have to pay the consequences.
First, Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) will insist that today Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) and Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) get what’s coming to them. Trina will get some help from Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) as they put the first phase of their sneaky plan in motion.
In the meantime, Esme will be brimming with confidence as usual. “When will you learn that I am always right?” Esme asks Spencer in Wednesday’s preview video. She’ll carry out a bold plan of her own, but Spencer’s going down no matter what!
As for Ava Jerome (Maura West), she’ll have a big decision to make. Ava put off signing the divorce papers, but she needs to decide whether she wants to stay married or not. Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) will insist it’s Ava’s call, but Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) could make a mess of things.
We should note that Adam Huss will step up as a temporary recast in Wednesday’s exciting episode, so don’t be surprised if Nikolas looks a little different! General Hospital spoilers say Nikolas will realize there’s only one surefire strategy to ensure Ava’s safety, but he may rile her up by taking charge of the situation.
At GH, Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) will hint at some advice for Britt. “By all means, enlighten me,” Britt says in response on Wednesday’s preview clip. She’ll give Epiphany some playful attitude, but we all know Epiphany tends to come through with good guidance.
Esme will also look after an old friend on Wednesday, so that may be Sonny since Jason wants him to get checked out. Sonny needs to see a psychiatrist, but it wouldn’t hurt to have a full exam either. His new doctors in Nixon Falls were taking care of amnesiac “Mike” the bartender, so they didn’t have all the facts about his medical history and health.
Sonny thankfully has his bipolar disorder under control, so this is just a precaution. However, this trip to the hospital will result in a surprising realization.
Sonny will apparently watch Jason interact with Britt and learn enough to realize a romance happened. He’ll ask if Jason left Britt for Carly, so Jason may admit that’s true and hope Sonny will leave it at that.
Back with Josslyn, she’ll spot something that leaves her bewildered at GH. Josslyn will hope to get to the bottom of whatever she witnesses, but Carly’s already gotten to the bottom of what really happened in Nixon Falls.
Thanks to tattletale Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), Carly found out Nina hid the truth about Sonny’s survival for months. Since Carly has just confronted Nina, a major showdown is on the way. “You did it and now you’re going to pay the consequences!” Carly shouts in Wednesday’s preview video.
