General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, September 8, tease that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will carry out a search for missing Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) while Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) pushes Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) to tell Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) the truth.
First, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Jordan Ashford (Donnell Turner) will discuss how their investigations led them to the same place: a house belonging to the guy from the Creighton-Clarke records office as well as the person on the plane next to Naomi Dreyfus (Gigi Bermingham).
Curtis will wonder if the case of missing Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) could be connected to Jordan’s investigation into Naomi’s murder.
The answer is yes according to GH spoilers, so look for Curtis, Jordan and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) to keep digging for answers.
Portia will hesitate at first, but Jordan will explain things in a way that makes it easier for the doc to get on board.
Since the house appears to be empty, that should be why Portia and Jordan go snooping in the basement.
Portia will make a shocking discovery while she’s down there, so could the guy they’re all looking for be deceased down there? That seems likely since anyone who could provide answers seems to turn up dead!
Curtis will wind up cornering a man and roughing him up a bit, so he might suspect he’s a minion responsible for the murder.
Whatever the case, there’ll be some good twists and turns coming up in what’s become a joint investigation.
As for Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), she’ll want to talk about the elephant in the room – which probably means Trina Robinson’s (Sydney Mikayla) feelings for Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez).
Trina just called Esme out for calling Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) by the name “Lauren,” which was displayed on the hospital badge found near Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) burnt-to-a-crisp car.
Esme will no doubt act like Trina’s making a big deal out of nothing and inventing ways to make her look like a villain.
Esme will suggest this is really about Trina being jealous, but Spencer will wind up in a tight spot since he cares about Trina and knows Esme is guilty.
The problem is Spencer is guilty as well, so he’ll just have to deal with the drama as best as he can.
At the gallery, Ava will fly into a rage as Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) refuses to accept the terms of the restraining order.
Nikolas will think this is extreme and may wonder who’s going to keep Ava safe if the stalker strikes again. “Who’s going to keep me safe from YOU?!” Ava fires back in Wednesday’s preview video.
A difficult lesson is on the way for Nikolas, so Ava may threaten to call the cops and have him arrested if he refuses to leave.
Whatever the case, it looks like an officer or security guard will indeed drag Nikolas out by the end of this confrontation.
In Nixon Falls, Nina will freak over Jax’s sudden arrival. She just ran into Jax outside The Tan-O, so she knows things are about to head downhill quickly.
“My business is you and what you’ve been up to here,” Jax tells Nina in the preview clip.
It looks like Jax will eventually barge in the bar and find “Mike” aka Sonny in the flesh. “Mike” will grow agitated and apparently ask if Jax has a problem with his name.
Of course, Jax might insist that “Mike” isn’t really Sonny’s name at all. It won’t be long until Jax is pushing Nina to come clean to Sonny, so she’ll be in a tight spot.
Back in Port Charles, Jason will make a phone call and ask for a favor. Since Carly is suddenly MIA, Jason may seek help from someone like Damian Spinelli or wedding planner Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) to find the bride ASAP.
Fortunately, this is just a false alarm. Carly may have just needed a minute to herself – or perhaps she wanted to make a last-minute stop at Sonny’s grave to make sure he was really OK with this.
Regardless, Carly will be found eventually. She’ll also get ready to tell Jason how she really feels about him before they take this huge marriage leap.
