General Hospital Spoilers: Week of December 27 – Carly’s Devastating Discovery – Drew & Curtis Investigate – New Year’s Eve in PC

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of December 27-31 tease that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will make a devastating discovery while Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) investigate Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett). New Year’s Eve is also coming up in Port Charles, so here’s what viewers can look forward to.

For starters, Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) preliminary hearing will come with some shockers. There’ll be a new witness that takes the stand, so that could be Nina herself if Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) feels it’s in her best interest.

Scott may have no choice but to put Nina on the spot and force her to open up about her romantic connection to Sonny.

Between Nina’s testimony and Sonny’s admission that he doesn’t believe she committed a crime, Carly’s going to be floored and furious!

Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) obviously isn’t going to be happy about Sonny’s secret romance with Nina either, but let’s focus on Sonny’s marriage fallout for now.

Carly’s devastation will lead to more trouble in their relationship, but Sonny will want a chance to explain his actions.

Sonny will no doubt defend his forbidden love with Nina since he had amnesia at the time, but Carly may wonder why he turned this into a dirty little secret.

This is something Sonny should’ve come clean about right away, particularly since he has such an issue with Carly and Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) feelings for each other.

As for Nina, she’ll find out whether she’s facing a trial or if the case will be thrown out. Unless Michael’s able to pull off some funny business, it looks like Nina will be off the hook – at least in the eyes of the law!

Unfortunately, Nina will rile Carly and Michael up even more thanks to all the courtroom chaos.

Over with Drew and Curtis, they’ll join forces to figure out the whole truth regarding Marshall and his past.

Curtis will battle concerns about his father’s history, so he’ll talk to Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) without realizing she’s part of the deception.

Stella will end up turning to Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) for some help while Marshall approaches Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) with an offer.

That could be a personal offer if Marshall wants to take Epiphany on a date, but it could also be a professional one if Marshall wants her to sing for a new music group he might put together.

Marshall will have some news for Curtis later, but Curtis may not respond well to his dad’s attempt to pass along info and bond.

Nevertheless, Curtis won’t let any of this spoil his New Year’s Eve fun with Portia. It looks like Portia and Curtis will celebrate at The Savoy along with plenty of other PC residents.

The results of Leo Falconeri’s (Easton Rocket Sweda) evaluation will be in, so Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will be on babysitting duty while Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) visit GH to hear them.

Next, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will get a special present from Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) while Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) hopes better days are ahead.

We’ll also see Laura Collins (Genie Francis) try to help Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) see the light, so that could involve opening his eyes to Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) true colors.

At the same time, Laura may also want to convince Spencer that Victor’s current deal really is his best option. It’d be far better to spend a month at Spring Ridge than risk doing up to five years in Pentonville.

Spencer will also bump into Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), who’ll wind up ditching her plans with Cameron Webber (William Lipton) – most likely for Spencer’s sake.

Could this be the start of Spencer and Josslyn forming a rather dangerous bond?

We certainly can’t rule out the idea of Josslyn and Spencer heading into romantic territory sooner or later. Esme Prince (Avery Kirsten Pohl) will continue trying to manipulate anyone and everyone, so stay tuned for more drama.

General Hospital spoilers say Spencer will continue to land in mess after mess, so don’t miss what’s in store!
