General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of December 6-10 tease that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will face Peter August (Wes Ramsey) while Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) learns Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) secret. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will also deal with a sad choice, so let’s talk about what’s coming up.
First, Sonny will run into Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and form a surprising bond with her. Both Britt and Sonny are grieving for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) right now, so that’s something they can come together on. Sonny may assure Britt that he doesn’t blame her as they wish there’d been a different outcome on Cassadine Island.
After seeing something shocking, Carly will seek answers from Nina – though she won’t get the whole truth. It sounds like Carly will grow increasingly curious about the nature of Nina’s relationship with Sonny in Nixon Falls, so she may put Nina on the spot over an old photo or even a warm embrace.
Nina should throw Carly off the trail for now, but she’ll land in hot water thanks to her loose lips. There’s a good chance Nina will talk to Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) about her Nixon Falls romance with Sonny while Willow is within earshot.
Willow will reel over some stunning information before Nina pushes for a favor. Although Willow will mull over her next move, it seems likely she’ll avoid telling Carly or Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) since it’d make all the Nina conflict even worse.
Nina will also end up in a situation where she has to rise to the challenge with Sonny, so it’ll be interesting to see what he asks of her. Meanwhile, Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will battle concerns and offer Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) a warning. Ava may have a bad feeling that Nikolas’ past deal with Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) will come back to haunt him.
Victor certainly hasn’t proven himself trustworthy, so he’ll continue to cause issues in Port Charles. As for Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), he’ll assure Maxie that he’ll do whatever it takes to find missing Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom).
Maxie will appreciate Drew’s willingness to help, but she’ll really wish he’d back off! That’s because Maxie knows exactly where Louise is and wants her to stay there for now. Maxie will hope the secret regarding “Bailey Quartermaine” stays under wraps until Peter can officially be put away.
Speaking of Peter, GH spoilers say Maxie will have to face him in lockup. That’ll bring some tense moments as Maxie’s reminded of her greatest fears, but she should walk away even more determined to protect Louise.
Peter will dish out some threats ahead of a deal Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) proposes. It obviously won’t be one that grants Peter his freedom, but Anna may suggest his prison conditions will be significantly better if he cooperates.
Anna might want to grease the wheels of justice here, but Peter may stand his ground and insist on dragging things out. Back with Maxie, she’ll offer Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) a warning of some sort. Maxie might worry that Drew’s mission to find Louise will bring more suspicions regarding Austin, which isn’t what she wants since he was so helpful during Louise’s birth.
Across town, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) will get under Trina Robinson’s (Sydney Mikayla) skin and prey on her insecurities. Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will wonder if Esme’s relationship with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) is even legit since Esme is always working some angle.
Over with Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs), she’ll do some soul-searching thanks to Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) new baby. Gladys will regret some of the choices she’s made and will want to make better ones, so she may put the scheming side of herself to rest.
Michael will be there for Sasha and Brando as they continue to cope with their baby’s health issues. Brando will also get some assistance from an unexpected source, so at least a strong support system will be in place.
Elsewhere, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will reconnect with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and offer advice on the right thing to do. Look for Nina to meet up with Britt as well and lend a sympathetic ear.
Britt will eventually get a surprising visit from Selina Wu, a member of the Wu family who’ll probably want her to speak on Brad Cooper’s (Parry Shen) behalf at his parole hearing. Meanwhile, Willow and Michael will have a run-in with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), which will be hostile and awkward due to the paternity lie drama.
Over with Sonny again, he’ll make some arrangements that could be related to his Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) plans. Then again, those arrangements could involve a proper goodbye to Jason since Sonny will have to make a distressing decision with Carly.
Jason’s funeral may be just around the corner, so we’ll deliver updates as other GH news rolls in. General Hospital spoilers say this period of mourning will bring more difficulties, so stay tuned.
