General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of February 22-26 tease that we’ll see some fierce promises and unsettling moments. First, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will vow to protect Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West).
This will come on the heels of Friday’s discovery, which will involve a gross and disturbing Valentine’s Day gift from someone mysterious.
Ava will be rattled after opening a package with a dead roach inside. Nikolas’ mind will go straight to Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom), though he won’t know how Ryan pulled this off considering he has locked-in syndrome. GH fans know Ryan’s faking it, but a dead roach certainly isn’t creepy enough for Ryan!
That sounds more like something a schemer like Spencer Cassadine (last played by Nicolas Bechtel) would do – and there’ll indeed be a lot of Spencer talk in some upcoming episodes. We’ve heard about a casting call for a teenage boy that fits Spencer’s description, so a recast may be in the works.
Regardless, Nikolas will receive some Spencer guidance from Laura Collins (Genie Francis). From the sound of things, Nikolas is going to need it! If Spencer is indeed behind the roach gift, he’s clearly not coming around on the idea of Nikolas and Ava’s marriage.
Over with Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), she’ll have revenge on her mind. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will resort to begging as her fears about Liesl grow.
It looks like the potential for danger will be pretty high, so Britt may warn her mom to cool it on her vengeful plans. What good is revenge if Liesl loses her life for it?
There’ll indeed be major concerns about Peter August (Wes Ramsey) as the walls close in on him. Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will rat Peter out to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), so a crushed Anna will accept that Peter needs to pay for his crimes.
Anna will get in touch with Peter and nudge him to come clean, but it doesn’t look like Peter will make a confession to her.
As for Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), she’ll fret over what Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) next move will be. Nina’s behavior should continue to be pretty wild, especially with Valentin in her corner.
After Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) shoots Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) to fool Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kobert), Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will visit him in the hospital. The same goes for Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), who’ll bond with Sasha and nearly kiss her by the end of the night.
However, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will return from their Valentine’s Day date in time to derail Michael’s smooch with Sasha.
Michael will end Valentine’s Day by watching a movie with Willow and reflecting on all the drama they’ve been dealing with lately.
Meanwhile, Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will try to have a nice anniversary dinner. That plan won’t really work out since Franco will be heckled by other customers at the restaurant.
Franco’s history will haunt him since his tumor’s back and people think the worst of him due to Peter’s article.
There’ll be another tough blow when Franco’s hair starts falling out due to his radiation treatment. Cameron Webber (William Lipton) will resolve to shave his head and show Franco he’s not in this fight alone, so he’ll get some help from Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla).
Elsewhere, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will voice her support for Nina before turning her attention to Britt.
Although Britt suggested Maxie would have to marry someone else to gain acceptance in Port Charles, Maxie will keep defending Peter and hope she can change some opinions – including Britt’s.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will try to make peace with Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero). Olivia told Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) she wouldn’t be forgiving Alexis, but will Olivia soften after Alexis’ heartfelt apology?
Elsewhere, Robert Scoprio (Tristan Rogers) will grumble to Jason about how there’s nothing else that can be done to stop Maxie’s wedding to Peter.
The good news is Peter’s on the verge of exposure. The bad news is Peter will go off the rails in the aftermath!
Finally, look for Jason and Britt’s connection to grow stronger in the coming episodes. General Hospital spoilers say Jason just might fall in love again down the road, so this strengthening bond with Britt is something to keep an eye on.
