General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of January 3-7 tease that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) will deliver tragic news while someone seeks a Peter August (Wes Ramsey) medical update. Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will also face a new “Bailey Quartermaine” aka Louise August (London and Jett Prinzo-Berendt) problem, so let’s talk about the hot drama ahead.
For starters, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will be distraught after her fight with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), so she’ll get some comfort from Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
Carly will open up and get some much-needed support during this time of crisis.
Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will continue to face a crisis of her own, so Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) will step up to help her.
That’ll mean getting a bit tough with Alexis, but Harmony will feel confident she can take it.
At GH, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) will show up seeking answers regarding a patient.
That patient may be Peter, who remains in a coma and could become an easy target. Victor might be tempted to just take Peter out, but Peter will remain alive for now.
Mac Scorpio (John J. York) will make a vow to someone, so that could be to Maxie about finding her daughter. Of course, Maxie already knows exactly where Louise is and will hope 2022 brings a happy reunion.
Unfortunately, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) recently stirred up Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) suspicions about “Bailey” being in danger.
Valentin hasn’t forgotten about that and will continue to fish for the truth, so Brook Lynn will warn Maxie about their latest snag.
As for Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), he’ll keep playing the role of doting dad when he shows off “Bailey” to Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton).
Finn will also head out on a date with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), so it’ll be their first official one and could soon mark a shift toward couple status.
Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will take a big step of their own, so it looks like they’ll move in together and kick off a new chapter.
Speaking of new chapters, we’ll see Felicia Scorpio make an exciting comeback now that Kristina Wagner is back on contract and set to hit the air again.
Felicia will share some mutual fears with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) about Maxie, so it’ll be nice to see these two catch up.
As for Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), they’ll have a disagreement in the aftermath of the recent court drama.
There’ll be growing tension in Michael and Willow’s romance, which is never a good sign!
Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will face some relationship woes as well since Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will want to handle her grief in her own way.
Sasha will have some strategy she feels is best, but Brando may not be on the same page. He’ll end up getting some sympathy from Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs), who’ll have some surprisingly wise advice.
Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) will have some guidance as well, though it’ll really be more like a stern warning!
Phyllis may urge Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) to back off Sonny and give him the space he needs to repair his marriage.
Sonny will indeed meet back up with Carly eventually, so they’ll have a difficult conversation about where they stand and what the future holds.
In the meantime, Port Charles will face a tough blow when Tracy comes home with some horrible news.
Could Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) be dead? There have been some rumblings about Luke potentially being killed offscreen, so we’ll see if that’s the news Tracy delivers.
Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will confide in Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) once the devastation hits, so she may reflect on her history with Luke and what he meant to her.
As for Tracy, she seems poised to have a heated showdown with Alexis and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) thanks to her unexpected arrival.
Tracy always brings chaos when she blows back into town, so this time will be no different!
