General Hospital (GH) spoilers preview teases for the week of January 4 to January 8 that viewers are in for a big week on the ABC soap, as Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) holds out hope that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is alive and out there somewhere after his fall off the bridge.
The new GH preview for the week of January 4 shows Carly insisting that Sonny’s coming back, so maybe viewers will see some proof that Sonny’s alive this week.
The new GH promo also promises some new heat, as viewers are shown quick flashes of two steamy scenes. The first is that of Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) in the shower together, so it looks like the couple may be working through their issues.
As GH viewers know, Molly recently confessed to her one-night stand with Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor).
Speaking of Brando, he’s also shown getting a kiss on the cheek from Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) which happened last week, but it looks like TPTB want to remind viewers that a possible relationship is starting here. Could we be looking at a Sasha/Brando pairing in 2021?
Back with Carly, she’ll have some seriously tense moments with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) during the week of January 4, as she’s forced to admit to Jason that she had Florence Grey (Annie Abbott) taken from her long-term care facility in Vermont as a means of getting leverage over Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).
Well, Jason’s not going to like that one bit, and the GH preview shows him fuming at Carly, saying, “This is a line I never thought I’d cross!” Jason then walks out on a horrified Carly. Longtime GH viewers know that one of Sonny’s cardinal rules, and therefore Jason’s as well, is that you never touch family.
General Hospital spoilers say that despite the friction with Jason, Carly will insist that she’s done the right thing and moved things along with Cyrus – unfortunately, Carly is wrong!
Next, the promo shows some additional characters in a still shot, including Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry), Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), and Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West), indicating that some action is coming up for them during the week of January 4.
Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is also shown telling someone, “It’s so thrilling, isn’t it?” in probably an inebriated state, since Alexis is still struggling with her drinking.
And Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) pops up at the end of the promo, happily saying, “It’s true.” It looks like Maxie may be discussing plans for that double wedding she’s driving.
It looks like we’re in for an exciting week, so stay tuned! We’ll be sure to give you updates as more GH news comes in. Remember, CDL is your go-to place for all the latest General Hospital spoilers and news.
