General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of July 19-23 tease that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will face a tough goodbye while Nina and Sonny reunite. Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Chavez) betrayal will also spark outrage, so here’s what viewers can check out.
First, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will arrange one last bonding session between Maxie and “Bailey Quartermaine” aka Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom).
Maxie will stick to her plan of leaving Port Charles for now, so she’ll want to say a heartfelt goodbye to her daughter.
In the meantime, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will pursue a new angle in their quest for the truth.
Anna and Valentin will hope to score some answers from Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) helicopter pilot, David Hopkins, who’s flying out of New York Methodist Hospital these days.
That’s also where Lenny Caulfield’s (Rif Hutton) new cardiologist is, so we’ll see if there’s any kind of story collision ahead.
Later, Nina will head back to Nixon Falls after receiving some updates from Sonny. Nina will feel like she should support Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) since Lenny’s in bad shape.
Of course, Nina also happens to miss “Mike” and will enjoy the idea of catching up.
While Nina and Sonny reunite, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will have a fun outing with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst). The two of them will continue to connect – this time over Violet Finn’s (Jophielle Love) t-ball game.
Next, good news for Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) will mean bad news for Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma).
It looks like Shawn is set to be released soon, so Nikolas will panic over his role in Hayden Barnes’ (Rebecca Budig) shooting potentially coming to light.
Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will catch some rays as they sit by the pool, but Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) will spend the day feeling betrayed.
Trina will fume over someone’s deception, so it sounds like she’ll find out “Victor” is actually Spencer.
Since we know Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) has a shocking reunion coming up, it seems she’ll cross paths with Spencer.
Back with Trina, she’ll resolve to do whatever it takes to bring Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) back together.
Once Anna makes it back from her New York City trip, she’ll let Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) know what she found out.
Anna will also nail down who she thinks was on the roof with Peter just before he vanished. It may dawn on Anna that Finn was about to confess to her recently and give him another chance to come clean.
Other GH spoilers say Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will be frustrated over his slow recovery.
Josh will wind up lashing out at Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) as a result, but he’ll no doubt apologize later.
Chase will push himself harder than he should in physical therapy, so he could cause a setback if he’s not careful.
There’ll also be growing guilt for Brook Lynn since Valentin’s so crazy about “Bailey.” The longer this scheme goes on, the worse Brook Lynn will feel about lying.
Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will meet up with Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Chareslon), so that could bring a conversation about Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) and all the Quartermaine chaos he’s causing.
