General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of July 5-9 tease that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) will form a surprise connection while Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) scores Monica Quartermaine’s (Leslie Charleson) approval. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will also contemplate some Port Charles trip plans, so here’s what fans can expect.
For starters, Britt will still be licking her wounds after the news of Jason’s marriage to Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright).
Jax will cross paths with Britt at Charlie’s Pub, so that’ll lead to an interesting chat between them – as well as some plans to watch some Independence Day fireworks together.
Next, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will get stuck in a jam together. Liz and Sam will have to tackle some sort of dilemma, so stay tuned to see if some teamwork can dig them out of trouble!
As for Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), they’ll share another moment that heads into passionate territory.
Valentin and Anna were interrupted before they could kiss last time around, but they’re set to lock lips this time and could go even further based on what we’re hearing.
Later, Valentin and Anna will have to address how their relationship is changing. They can’t keep pretending their feelings are just friendly, so Anna and Valentin will discuss where they really stand.
Meanwhile, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will get some heartbreaking news. She’ll probably hear about Jason’s marriage to Carly and feel like this is yet another tough blow for Britt to deal with.
After Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) makes some sort of move on Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), he’ll wonder what’s up.
There’ll be a confrontation that leads to Curtis finding out Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) has been manipulating his love life behind the scenes.
Stella will get chewed out for meddling – and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will get an apology from Curtis.
Even though Curtis didn’t do anything wrong, he’ll still want Portia to know he’s sorry if Stella made her feel uncomfortable or threatened.
In solitary confinement, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will find herself having a rough time.
Look for Molly Lansing-David (Haley Pullos) to pay Judge Carson a visit and perhaps wonder if there’s any way to ease this burden on her mom.
Of course, it’s a bad idea for Molly to get too involved with this judge who’s no doubt going to cause more trouble for her.
Nevertheless, Molly will move forward with this visit and await updates on Alexis as well as Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore).
TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) will also be eager for info as this storyline heats up.
Over with Monica, she’ll catch Jason by surprise. Monica will understand Jason’s reasons for marrying Carly and won’t judge him for the decision, so he’ll appreciate that.
Back with Britt, GH spoilers say she’ll end up having a fierce faceoff with Carly. Britt will be acting unreasonable in Carly’s eyes, so there’ll be plenty of tension going on.
Finally, “Mike” aka Sonny will get some advice from Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy).
Since Sonny will miss Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and will fear she’ll never return to Nixon Falls, Phyllis will think “Mike” should take action.
Phyllis willencourage Sonny to take the trip to Port Charles and remind Nina of what’s been waiting for her.
