General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that the double wedding will indeed get underway this week, March 1-5, and the new GH preview is all about the big event. As GH viewers know, last week, February 22-26, ended with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) being confronted by someone at the cemetery as she was visiting Nathan West’s (Ryan Paevey) gravesite.
Well, the GH preview makes it clear that Maxie gets through that confrontation and makes her way to the Metro Court for the wedding, as the preview shows her in her gown and preparing for the wedding ceremony.
That’s good news for Maxie, and it suggests that the confrontation at the cemetery may end up being no big deal after all – or at least not a big enough deal to make her call off the wedding.
Various couples are then shown preparing for the ceremony at the Metro Court, including Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), who’s with Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), who’s with Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).
The preview warns viewers to get ready for anything, so clearly something major’s going down at this wedding.
As the guests sit and wait for the brides to enter and walk down the aisle, everyone looks distracted by something – there’s a lot of various characters gazing and peering in different directions, indicating that someone major might be interrupting this ceremony.
People start looking askew, including Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison), Dante Falconeri (Dominick Zamprogna), Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).
“What are you doing here?” Maxie is heard asking someone, her voice clearly under great distress.
So, who’s going to interrupt the wedding? Might it be Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), with news about Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) mother being Alex Devane Marick (Finola Hughes)?
Or will it be Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth), who will be staying in the Metro Court the night of the wedding? Might Franco have some sort of voice-hearing breakdown and interrupt the wedding to spill the beans about what Peter’s saying in his head?
Something big will happen this week, and it’s going to be a major scene. One wonders if anyone will actually get married – since Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) seems hell-bent on stopping Peter from hurting Maxie, it’s always possible that she’ll be the one to bring the whole ceremony to a screeching halt.
We’re in for an exciting week on General Hospital, so be sure to stay tuned! Here at CDL, we’ll keep you up to speed on all the latest General Hospital spoilers, daily episode recaps, and news.
