General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of November 8-12 tease that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will make a dangerous power play while Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) delivers a new proposal. Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will also make a big mistake by letting Esme Prince (Avery Kirsten Pohl) dictate how fast her relationship moves, so here’s what fans can expect.
First, Sonny will stumble into some drama when he takes a meeting with Mrs. Wu (Lydia Look). There’ll be some sort of setup here, so Sonny will have to navigate any potential danger or threats that land in his path.
Meanwhile, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will get some good news that brings a sense of relief.
One way or another, Sam may receive proof that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is still alive. Drew is also still under Peter’s control, but his survival is the first step toward bringing him home.
Until then, there’ll be more mayhem on Cassadine Island, Peter will put on quite a show and display his power. It sounds like Peter will make Drew his puppet – just to prove to Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) what he’s capable of.
Britt will fret over Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), who clearly needs medical attention that she’s not getting yet. There may not be much Britt can do if Peter won’t cooperate.
Back in Port Charles, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will run into someone surprising. All signs point to Willow perhaps having a run-in with Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel), who may hope to make amends and score a real spot in her daughter’s life.
As for Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth), he’ll pay Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) a visit and pass along some info.
Based on some other upcoming GH spoilers, it seems Austin may mostly alert Valentin to trouble and set the stage for Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) to make an admission of her own.
Back with Sonny, he’ll extend an offer to Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) and hope she sticks around Port Charles. Sonny will push Phyllis to accept Charlie’s Pub as a gift to repay her for all her kindness in Nixon Falls.
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will worry she won’t be welcome at the pub anymore, but Phyllis could certainly never ban a friend from her new bar.
At home, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will find a big surprise waiting for her. Soon after, Liz will open up to Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) about her budding relationship with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton).
It sounds like Liz’s surprise will involve a present from Finn, so we’ll see if this romance finally starts to heat up. Over with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), he’ll have to shift gears quickly and tackle an emergency at The Savoy.
Based on the mob hints lately, Curtis might find himself in the position to defend the club from an attack.
Someone unexpected will visit The Savoy later, so this should be when Curtis comes face to face with “Marshall” (Robert Gossett) the mystery man – and that’ll lay the groundwork for quite a shocker.
“Marshall” is likely Curtis’ “dead” father, so he may have some explaining to do down the road! Until then, Esme will keep pushing her weekend getaway plan.
Esme will hope to get Josslyn, Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) on board, but alarm bells will go off for Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla).
Josslyn will have some important updates to share with Trina, who won’t respond how her bestie predicts.
Since Esme got under Josslyn’s skin, Joss should be eager to hit the sheets with Cameron soon enough. Trina may think it’d be a mistake to rush into bed because of Esme’s taunting.
Trina will also badmouth Esme and spark another confrontation between them before the week’s over. As for Spencer, he’ll get some redemption advice from Sonny and try to find a better way to live his life.
Next, Josslyn and Cameron will get some alone time at last. A lovemaking effort will likely ensue, but will Cam and Joss really do the deed?
Brakes might be pumped at the last second, but we’ll just have to see how it all plays out!
