General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for the week of November 8-12 teases that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will see a “ghost” while Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) gets a birthday surprise. Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will also fear a new ban, so here’s what the show has in store.
For starters, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will get down to some mob business when he accepts a meeting with Ms. Wu (Lydia Look). Ms. Wu will have a request she hopes Sonny can grant, but it looks like he’ll go above and beyond.
Sonny might even offer some of the Novak empire he just acquired as a reward for Ms. Wu’s loyalty.
Ms. Wu came through when Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) needed her to, so their lives were spared. That kind of loyalty is something Sonny doesn’t take lightly.
Of course, Sonny hasn’t forgotten about all the help Phyllis Caufield (Joyce Guy) gave him in Nixon Falls either. Phyllis will get a reward of her own if she’s willing to accept it.
Phyllis may think Charlie’s Pub is too big of a gift, but Sonny will plead with her to take it and build a new life for herself in Port Charles.
As for Nina, she’ll fear she may have to stop frequenting the pub now that it’s under new ownership. However, Sonny and Phyllis should be fine with Nina dining there.
As long as Nina avoids run-ins with Carly, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and other angry Corinthos family members, she should be fine.
Next, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) will go for one last round of manipulation before sending Cameron Webber (William Lipton) off to do the deed with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).
While Esme messes with Cam’s head, Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) will likely push Joss to slow down and see that there’s no need to race to the bedroom with Cam.
Liz will get a surprise when she returns home, so that should tie in with the little birthday party Cam mentioned.
Later, Cameron and Josslyn will finally get the quiet time alone they’ve been waiting on.
Unfortunately, Joss may find she’s a bit out of sync with Cam. She might take Trina’s advice and avoid hitting the sheets with Cameron until she’s ready.
Then again, there’s always a chance Cam and Joss will have a first time together that’s less than magical! Either way, Esme should be pleased to cause more problems.
Speaking of problems, there’ll be one at The Savoy that forces Curtis to think fast. It looks like that’ll be related to the musical performance for the evening, but Curtis will get it all worked out in the nick of time.
Phideaux Xavier is a longtime director with GH, but he’ll show off another passion when he takes the stage as the lead singer of a hot band. Xavier will play a new song he wrote, so that’ll be a fun treat for fans on November 11.
Back with Sonny, he’ll give some good advice as Spencer works hard to be the best man he can be.
Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will also have a surprising encounter, so it could be Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) who bumps into her daughter and tries to make some progress in their relationship.
On Cassadine Island, Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will drive a hard bargain with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) before putting on a powerful show.
Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will try to team up with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), but Drew’s programming could make him Peter’s star puppet for a bit longer.
At the gallery, Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) will show up looking for Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West), so we’ll see if that involves legal issues or if he just needs a confidant.
Scott will remain worried about Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) – and so will Britt until her mom can get the medical attention she needs.
Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) will also get too nosy for his own good and could wreck things for Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). He’ll snoop for more Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) info and will fill Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) in on his concerns.
Meanwhile, Maxie and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will hire Kip (Artie O’Daly) the bartender to do one of his usual side acting jobs, but it’ll end in disaster.
It seems Kip may serve as a pretend “baby daddy,” but Gladys will realize she’s being scammed in the coming episodes.
Finally, Curtis will see “Marshall” (Robert Gossett) aka the mystery man for himself. He’ll demand to know who this person is when he shows up at The Savoy again, so a father confession appears to be looming. It seems “Marshall” is the dad Curtis believes to be dead.
General Hospital spoilers say some stunning scenes are ahead as Curtis copes with this “ghost” from his past.
