General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Mother’s Day brings a chance to reflect on all the moms in Port Charles and think about who’s the cream of the crop. Who’s the best mom on GH? Let’s consider some of the show’s top mothers so you can decide which one is your number one pick.
For starters, there’s Laura Collins (Genie Francis). Laura adores her son, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma), but she’s not afraid to call out his bad decisions and try to guide him down a better path.
It was nice to see Laura dishing out some tough love to Nikolas recently. Nikolas deserved it after the way he handled things with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober)!
Of course, who could forget those touching farewell-for-now scenes Laura shared with Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) after she fell into a coma?
Even now, Laura consistently visits Lulu and is keeping hope alive for her daughter. Laura will never give up on her children and always steps up for her grandkids, too.
Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) is another fantastic mom in Port Charles. General Hospital fans know how hard Olivia fought for Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), who probably wouldn’t be back in PC at all if it weren’t for his ma.
Olivia has a mothering sort of personality in general, so she’s always watching out for others and trying to help those in need – even if that just means handing over some baked ziti!
Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) has also proven to be an excellent fill-in mom to Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson), so she’s worth putting on the best mom list.
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) is a mom who some viewers might be divided on when it comes to whether she’s a good one. On one hand, Carly can be meddlesome and overbearing. She sometimes makes choices that perhaps aren’t the greatest for her children.
On the other hand, General Hospital fans won’t find a fiercer mama bear than this Corinthos queen! When Carly vows to do whatever it takes for her family, we all know for a fact that she means it.
Carly’s protective nature has to count for something, especially when the love she has for her children is so evident.
