General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that with all the mentions of his character lately, fans have to wonder: Will Anders Hove return as Cesar Faison? Could Faison be alive along with Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and bring the comeback of a formidable father-son duo?
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) recently reflected on how hard Peter fought to not be his father – only to turn into Faison after all.
That could be a hint that Peter’s outcome will mirror Faison’s outcome. It could mean that since Peter isn’t really dead, Faison isn’t really dead either.
GH fans saw what was supposedly Faison’s dead body – and we saw what was supposed to be Faison’s brain in a jar as well.
However, soaps rewrite stories and endings all the time. It’d be easy to claim that wasn’t the real Faison and suggest a lookalike or someone wearing a realistic mask was swapped in.
The show could even offer a wilder explanation connected to Helena Cassadine’s (Constance Towers) lab and some crazy experiment. Anything’s possible in Port Charles!
Regardless, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) apologized to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) in the July 29 episode and included Faison in part of his heartfelt words.
Valentin was sorry for delivering Peter to Faison, so that was yet another Faison mention and a potential clue that Anders Hove could return.
Plus, Valentin later pointed out that Peter wouldn’t be the first dead man in PC to get up and walk away. Perhaps it’ll be revealed that dead Faison got up and walked away before Peter!
Peter wasn’t on good terms with Faison when he died, but things may have changed now that Peter’s proven to be so much like his dangerous and devious old man.
There’s a chance that Faison finally approves and has embraced Peter as someone to carry on his legacy.
Faison has a grandchild in the picture here, so that’s worth keeping in mind as well.
Maybe Faison is working behind the scenes with Peter and will ultimately help him go after Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom).
This just feels like a good opportunity to bring back a popular GH villain if that’s something the writers might want to do.
Throwing Faison back in the mix might be fun, especially since there’s been all this talk about Helena’s lab and dead men rising.
