General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) may have made his worst mistake yet! There’s no denying that Peter’s made plenty of devious blunders – and he’s been forced to make even more to cover them up.
Peter’s been spinning his wheels for months and doing everything he can to keep himself on the path to the future he wants.
However, Peter really needs to worry about far more than whether Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will take him back or allow him to be part of his daughter’s life. Peter should worry about more than just avoiding prison as well.
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) just proved that there are major risks to Peter’s life in Port Charles, but Peter may have made a deal with the deadliest one of all.
When Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) set up that cemetery meeting to discuss taking care of their mutual Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) problem, Peter wondered why he should trust Cyrus.
Nevertheless, Cyrus pointed out that no one said anything about trust! This was just about coming together against a common enemy.
Cyrus suggested he’d benefit in the short-term by eliminating a nuisance and added that he was sure Peter could be of use in the long-term. Cyrus kept his end of the bargain by having Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) pose as the fake eyewitness against Jason.
Gladys claims she saw Jason dispose of the gun that killed Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth), so Jason’s in real trouble.
Peter may be in trouble, too – even if he doesn’t realize it yet. It’s that part about Peter being of use to Cyrus in the long-term that sounds troubling. Peter feels like his part in this transaction is complete since he just did Cyrus a favor.
That article in The Invader about Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) and her paternity drama certainly pleased Cyrus.
Unfortunately, we’re all aware of how Cyrus operates and this surely won’t be the last favor he asks for. That could be an issue since Peter is a stubborn man who only cares about himself. GH fans know Peter doesn’t do anything unless it benefits him, so what happens if he doesn’t cooperate the way Cyrus has in mind?
There’s no predicting what Cyrus will want Peter to do next, but Peter may not like whatever it is. Since Peter got what he wanted through Jason’s arrest and repaid Cyrus for it, he won’t see why their business together should continue.
If Peter stands against Cyrus, it may be his last move!
General Hospital spoilers hint that Cyrus is perhaps the most dangerous man in Port Charles these days. Peter may think that title belongs to him, but Cyrus might take lethal action and prove otherwise.
Could Cyrus eventually be the one to take Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) son out over his betrayal?
