General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will get married, but will they consummate their new marriage? Will Carly and Jason land in bed together before Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) comes home?
Jason and Carly will go through with the nuptials as part of their plan to protect the Corinthos organization, but we need to think about what might happen in the aftermath. There’s certainly the potential for Carly and Jason to hit the sheets under the circumstances.
Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Chase (Katelyn MacMullen) found themselves in a similar situation when they married to protect Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson). At first, it was just a sham marriage meant to accomplish something.
Later, Willow and Michael’s feelings intensified, so that pushed the pair into sleeping together – sealing the deal and making it a real marriage instead. Even now, Michael and Willow want a future as a couple.
They got their marriage annulled and Willow has entered a new one with Chase, but the fact remains that the original “Millow” sham marriage changed their lives forever.
Now we could see this “Jarly” marriage change hearts and minds, too. There’s no denying that Jason and Carly have always had a bizarrely close bond. Their friendship is at a whole different level compared to most people’s usual friendly connections.
Since they’ll have a strong foundation and they care about each other so much, Carly and Jason could indeed hit the sheets. Consummating the marriage could become a real option since it’d add to the drama of Sonny’s upcoming return to Port Charles.
Sonny probably won’t have his memories back at that point, so he may not see any reason to reunite with Carly or be loyal if she’s sleeping with a new husband! Once Sonny’s memories do end up flooding back, he might be outraged over Jason taking his wife to bed.
