General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will push for peace. After Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) takes aim at Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) for Nelle Benson’s (Chloe Lanier) deadly fate, she’ll make it clear that no one’s going to keep her from Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson).
Nina will continue to rage over Carly and Jasper “Jax” Jacks’ (Ingo Rademacher) behavior in coming episodes. General Hospital spoilers say Nina will unload her frustration on Ava, who should completely understand since she’s got plenty of issues with Carly herself.
Naturally, Jax will do his best to help Nina understand the complicated situation. Carly tried to pull Nelle up from the cliff’s edge, so Jax will undoubtedly try to help Nina see the truth.
Unfortunately, Nina’s bound to think Jax is either lying for Carly as usual or being manipulated into believing Carly’s side of the story.
Whatever the case, Nina will start quite a war with Carly – one that Michael will probably want to nip in the bud. Michael tends to play peacemaker whenever he can, so this will be another good opportunity. During the week of February 22-26, Michael will extend an olive branch and hope it helps.
Sadly, Nina seems poised to really spin out of control here. When Nina brings up Wiley, she already seems fiercely determined. That determination is only going to grow stronger after she accuses Carly of murdering her daughter.
When you throw in all the mob mayhem, Nina’s bound to view Wiley’s current living arrangements as dangerous. There have been some GH hints about Michael potentially being targeted as part of the Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) battle again.
Can Nina handle it if she thinks Wiley could be at risk? Nina will certainly take drastic action if she feels like Wiley could end up dead.
After all, Carly has already lost her son, Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig). Now Nina has lost Nelle, so she might fear that the mutual grandson she shares with Carly will be next.
There’s the potential for Nina to do something wild down the road. Nina might take a page out of her old playbook – one that was in Nelle’s playbook, too.
If Nina feels like she won’t succeed in securing custody or even tries and fails to get Wiley, what will she do? Could Nina kidnap Wiley just like Nelle did? It’s easy to imagine someone as emotionally fragile and concerned as Nina doing something that desperate.
Nelle’s kidnapping motives were more about getting the upper hand on the Corinthos clan, but Nina might genuinely fear for Wiley’s safety.
Of course, Nina would be found eventually and would have to return Wiley, but this kidnapping route seems like a logical one to take.
It’d highlight how similar Nina is to Nelle and would help Nina feel like she understands her daughter even more.
Plus, it’s not like Nina hasn’t kidnapped before! Nina stole Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) baby once upon a time, so this whole ordeal could sink Nina back into a dark place mentally. The trauma of losing Nelle and fearing she might lose Wiley as well may be too much to take.
