General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) may bust Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) walking around and snooping for Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth). It looks like Willow and Chase’s secrets will blow up to finally end their marriage.
Chase was crushed when he realized Willow and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) slept together, but he quickly deduced this wasn’t some casual hookup situation.
Chase gets that Willow never expected him to live and must be in love with Michael, so he’s mostly been angry with himself for missing the warning signs.
Of course, Austin has been trying to get Chase to focus on his anger toward Michael over the betrayal. Austin is counting on Chase to poke around Edward Quartermaine’s (John Ingle) old study and find evidence to back up his claims regarding the will.
Despite Chase’s initial reservations about the scheme, it appears he’ll do what Austin asked of him and indeed do some digging.
Naturally, this presents the possibility for Chase to get caught walking around – especially since Willow lives on the same property.
Chase is getting stronger every day, but he hasn’t filled Willow in on the news that he can walk.
Although Chase isn’t back to normal, his recovery is much further along than Willow thinks – and he’s certainly reached that five-step milestone that Willow’s been waiting for.
It’s easy to imagine Willow strolling by Edward’s old study and getting a huge shock when Chase is standing as well as taking steps to seek proof.
The snooping part will be secondary to the fact that Chase has deceived Willow about his progress.
Willow might confront Chase and hear the whole ugly story of how he found out she went behind his back with Michael. She won’t really be able to say much about Chase’s own deception considering her betrayal.
Chase obviously isn’t happy about this mess, but GH spoilers say he’ll share some bittersweet scenes with Willow during the week of August 16-20. That could mean that Willow and Chase will clear the air about the deception on both sides.
They may resolve to end their marriage after Willow explains her point of view and ultimately gets set free by Chase.
