Good Girls Premiere Recap 03/07/21: Season 4 Episode 1 “One Night in Bangkok”

Tonight on NBC their hit show Good Girls airs with an all-new Sunday, March 7, 2021, episode and we have your Good Girls recap below.  On tonight’s Good Girls season 4 episode 1, “One Night in Bangkok”  as per the NBC synopsis, “The pressure is on after Lucy’s body is discovered in a graveyard.

Beth and Dean do everything they can to get Boland’s Bubbles up and running but encounter red tape; Harry gets in trouble and his teacher encourages Ruby and Stan to get him tested.”

A woman calls her dog. The dog arrives and drops a foot on the porch. She screams. At school, Ruby and Stan are asked to come in. Their son has brought in a silly buddy that makes a fart sound. He also hid on her. While creating art, he drew testicles. His teacher thinks he has ADHD.

Annie tries to plan a birthday for Ben but he doesn’t want to do anything. She meets with her therapist. They talk about it before she asks why he shaved and if he has picked a date for his wedding. It’s a touchy subject for them both. They stare awkwardly at each other.

Rio questions Beth about the days of the week while she bundles money. He is looking for his cut and he wants to know about the hot tub sales. She tells him they are almost open. He needs to be patient. They can’t just start going crazy, they will get caught. Later, moms from the school are over when they start talking about a dead girl. Beth starts to lose it. She cannot see. She panics.

At the hospital, Beth is being assessed. When the nurse leaves, she, Ruby, and Annie talk. She tells them about Rio pressuring her to sell hot tubs and about the moms talking. Beth goes home later and tells Dean they need to start selling hot tubs.

Beth tries to let her stress out at the park during a group workout while Dean and a friend open the store. Beth talks to the workout instructor after, still unaware she is undercover and watching her.

Stan and Ruby talk. Is their son misbehaving or does he have ADHD? Stan thinks he is a normal kid. Ruby wonders.

Dean officially opens Bolland Bubbles. Beth works the floor. She tries to sell a spa to a woman who shares she is the county inspector. She shuts them down for a number of pricey violations.

Beth is back at class in the park. She tries to sell hot tubs while they do squats. The instructor gets in on the conversation, asking what she is selling.

Annie arrives home to find Gregg waiting for her. She learns that Ben threw a huge party while he and Nancy were out. She had no idea. She also didn’t know Ben played lacrosse. Gregg tries to make her feel better about being out of the loop.

Beth and Dean ask the inspector back. They offer her piles of money to pass the inspection. She passes them. Beth heads to see Rio. He isn’t that thrilled when she tells him they are up and running. She wants the gun back he has been holding over her head. He shares that he has been called in to talk to the cops. He is evasive about what he plans to tell them.

Beth tells Ruby and Annie about Rio. Annie thinks she needs to run. Ruby thinks she doesn’t need to worry. Beth feels horrible. Later, Beth writes a letter to Dean about how to cook the books. She places the letter in the office with a picture of their family. She finds Dean to tell himself but then has an idea when she sees a handprint on the bathroom door.

Stan comes home. He went to the school and had their son’s teacher switched. Ruby pulls out a bad stack of homework with penis drawings all over it. It is their son. Stan finally sees it. He needs to be tested for ADHD after all.

Annie tries to talk to Ben and wish him a happy birthday when he comes home. She tries to make plans but he isn’t interested. She heads to meet Rio’s guy and brings food for a favor. She pleads for Beth and her prints on the gun, offering her own prints. Beth is a good mother.

Beth meets with Rio to give him his money. She hands him a sheet of money, a copy with his prints. She has the original. He realizes she has him. He cannot get her in trouble because she will do the same to him. He drops his head, disappointed.

Stan and Ruby realize their son is smart and very bored. Now they have a whole new problem on their hands. Meanwhile, Beth welcomes the hitman into her home. He asks her about her lack of furniture. She wants to know when he plans to take out his target. She paid him a lot of money. He has been distracted. He cannot stop thinking about her. He asks her to have dinner.

The undercover agent working on busting Beth and the ladies tells her boss all about what she thinks when it comes to Boland Bubbles. He decides to increase surveillance.
