In tonight’s Good Girls episode, Beth hadn’t known he put it together when she talked to him. She was actually honest with him for once because she hadn’t known and only after she said everything that Dean admitted to what he did. The printing press, not the other confession. Beth and her friends printed the money and they presented it to Rio who said now they have to do the second part.
They printed it and now they have to drop it because his men don’t know how to print the Queen. The girls were the ones who had to take the money in Canada. They had to find some way to sneak in and thankfully this is where Annie came in. Annie’s friend just came out of rehab. He was allowed to keep his boating license and there was going to be an event soon with everyone out on the water and drunk. It was the best time to sneak over the border.
The girls just had to come up with an excuse for the families. Ruby told her husband that they were going on a girl’s trip to pamper themselves and he hadn’t bought it one bit. He sent one of his guys to go after the girls. A cop pulled them over and confiscated the cooler. Stan later explained himself. He said he did it because their plan had too many holes in it and that it must have been Beth’s idea. Stan didn’t even want to hand back the container of money and Beth was also dealing with a trespassing ticket because of him. Beth brought it to Rio’s brother/cousin.
Only he told her that he likes to keep his distance from Rio’s business and so he wasn’t much help until he realized at the last minute that he could help. It was very convenient for him. Beth dealt with the trespassing ticket while Ruby worked at getting the money back and Annie went on a date.
Annie changed her mind about Kevin moving out once she realized he was good with her kid. Then she agreed to have dinner with him at their place and he ended up serving her food he “saved” from the dumpster. Annie spat the food out when she heard where it come from. Kevin got upset because he said food from the grocery store was capitalism and so he agreed to start cooking with her food if she tried dumpster food once.
She did. She didn’t mind it and he agreed to cook her food. Her son Ben eats out most nights with his friends and so Annie was glad that he’ll be eating at home. Annie and Kevin also shared a kiss. She put a stop to it and told Kevin not to do it again. They were roommates and they couldn’t risk complicating their relationship with anything else. Their “date” was just a friends’ date. Nothing more.
The girls also have a new issue. They had to convince Stan to give them back the money and he was being difficult. He eventually relented when they came up with the right plan. Which was his plan. They used a stripper friend and she took the money over the border for them, but then she demanded five percent of what was inside and so they gave in. They were back on the road with the money when they spotted someone following them.
This person has been following them since they stopped in the parking lot to get their money back. They were wondering how to shake this vehicle as Beth’s husband considered turning her in for a lighter sentence. Dean had told his friends the truth and so it was their plan to turn on her.
They tried to tell him to put himself in first. They ignored the Beth they knew to accuse her of turning on Dean first and that Dean should do it. Dean was actually considering it as Beth and her friends were forced to ditch the money. They went into the casino to lose the money just in case it was the Mounties that was following them and unfortunately, they just kept winning. Beth had to accept a call.
It turns out her son was injured and that he needed mom to come to pick him up because Dean couldn’t do it. Beth had to explain to Dean that she left the country and he told her that next time just lies to him. Beth was so upset that she went back in and she bet everything on her wedding date. She lost the whole load and so it really was the unluckiest number in the world.
Beth rushed home only to have Dean rub it into her wounds that their son didn’t even ask for her. There was nothing that Beth could say to get Dean to back off and now more than ever he was listening to his friends. Beth meanwhile had to deal with Rio. Rio revealed it was his people that were following Beth and so she told him that would have been nice to know before they lost the money. Beth was once again in trouble. She was also helping Rio’s cousin with one of his charities and Stan finally came clean to Ruby about his deal with Beth. The deal was back on once Beth printed the money and Rio was going to collect one way or another.
Annie also missed her chance with Kevin. He was backdating Angela and she didn’t mind dumpster diving with him.
THE END!
