Days of Our Lives Alison Sweeney To Star In ‘The Wedding Veil Trilogy’ on Hallmark TV
Hallmark Channel just unveiled plans for an all-new film trilogy. Titled “The Wedding Veil,” the trilogy will feature Lacey Chabert, Alison Sweeney, and Autumn Reeser.
In addition to the leading ladies, the Hallmark TV trio of movies will star Kevin McGarry, which Hallmark fans know from the channel’s “When Calls the Heart” show.
The trilogy is based on a romance book authored by Lori Wilde, “There Goes the Bride: Wedding Veil Wishes Book 1.” The TV movies will look at all types of love, from love of an exciting adventure to love for a best friend to love in a romantic sense.
The Hallmark TV Channel revealed that the “Wedding Veil” trilogy will “follow three close but far-flung college friends who, during one of their annual trips together, discover an enchanted antique that changes each of their lives.”
And while we can predict that Alison, Lacey, and Autumn will portray those three close friends, the suspense lies in Kevin’s role. Is he someone’s best friend, an instigator of adventure, or… a true love?

Starring with Alison Sweeney and Autumn Reeser, Lacey Chabert will also take on the role of executive producer for the Wedding Veil trilogy. Lacey gave her Instagram followers a sneak peek.

Talking with Good Housekeeping about the Hallmark TV movie, Lacey shared her enthusiasm for the project.
“This project is, quite literally, a dream come true for me and one that I have been deeply invested in. Both Allison and Autumn are incredibly talented, smart and wonderful women and actors. I’m thrilled to be able to finally get to work with them and tell this very special story!”
As for looking at the movie from the Hallmark TV channel’s perspective, a director representing the channel pointed out the special theme.
“While our channel is associated with romance, a core tenet of the Hallmark brand is celebrating love in its many facets, including family bonds and enduring friendships. Our programming is reflecting that more and more. What better way to celebrate female friendships than to bring together three beloved actors from our network, Lacey Chabert, Alison Sweeney and Autumn Reeser,” said Michelle Vicary, EVP of Programming.
