In tonight’s I Am Jazz episode, Sander went out on a date with a transgender woman. Her name is Hope. She’s so beautiful that she just glows and so Sander was definitely interested. He didn’t mind that she was talker than him. He didn’t care what people would say about the relationship.
He just found himself enjoying his time with Hope and she felt the same. She trusts him. She even felt comfortable enough to tell him that she wants to get her bottom surgery and how that’s next step in her life. Sander didn’t mind that she was getting the surgery. He also never asked if she had one or not. He knows that’s pretty personal what with growing up with a transgender sister and he never wanted to put Hope at ill ease.
Sander said the surgery doesn’t matter to him. What matters is the people in his life and he hopes that Hope continues to be one of them Sander was still enjoying his dad as his sister Jazz was working out. Jazz has gained over a hundred pounds. She met with a nutritionist and she was trying to eat better.
She was also exercising with her friends. Jazz used to be a very active teenager and now she gets tired easily. She tends to find that very humbling. Like she could do anything before and nowadays she needs to take a breather every few minutes. Jazz wasn’t giving up, though. She still wants to get into shape and she keeps pushing herself to get better and better. And she’s also being supportive of her brother.
Jazz found out about Sander’s date. She asked him how it went and he said it was good. He mentioned that Hope was having the bottom half surgery. Jazz understood that, while he didn’t come out and say it, he was also glad about the surgery because he straight. Sander is straight. He likes women and he wants to sleep with women.
This wasn’t the first relationship he’s ever been in a transwoman because he had kissed one before and then he didn’t tell anyone about it because he had been afraid of being judged. He also felt ashamed. Sander needed to talk about this with someone and so he first talked to Jazz. Who as his sister was supportive of him the whole way. And afterwards he spoke to Peppermint.
Peppermint was in town. She visited the family to check in with everyone. Peppermint later went with Jazz to try on wigs and the two got to talking while doing so. Jazz had wanted to try on wigs because she wanted to be as majestic of a drag queen and there was no better person to shop with than Peppermint. They also talked about a charity event that Jazz wants to put together. Jazz wants to host a charity event highlighting black trans lives and she asked Peppermint to be a spokesperson. Peppermint of course agreed. She also pointed out that what needed to be done for this event to be about black trans people. And Jazz wasn’t the only person that Peppermint was helping now that she’s in town.
Peppermint also talked to Sander. The two of them are great friends. They hang out and go on vacations together. They were talking out by the jacuzzi when he brought up Hope. He said he really likes Hope. He mentioned how much he’s grown and matured as a person. But Sander was worried about the intimate side with Hope. He didn’t want to be judged which is why he never told anyone that the first girl he kissed was trans and so Peppermint pointed out to him that he felt ashamed. If he didn’t feel shame, he’d be able to live his life freely. Peppermint admitted in her confessional that while there is a spark between her and Sander – it wasn’t going to go anywhere and that most likely could be because of Sander. Sander just doesn’t seem ready for the full ramifications of dating a trans person.
Sander did later invite Hope to the charity event that his sister was putting together. He wanted her to be there and she wanted to be a part of such an important event to her community.
THE END!
