In tonight’s LPBW episode, the sale on Chris’s house is going through. He’s ready to move in with Amy and to prove it he finally brought along his fish. The fish’s name is Henry. Chris is glad to be sharing him with Amy and it’s good they have light-hearted moments as they plan their wedding. Amy is serious about planning. She considers her future wedding to be a traditional and serious occasion and Chris is more laidback.
He doesn’t think he should write his own vows. He doesn’t create an invite list without being given a deadline by Amy and he sure doesn’t get an opinion on the minor wedding details. That really is Amy’s domain. Amy likes being in charge of the wedding and Chris lets her but she doesn’t let the power go to her head. She still gives him tasks.
Amy tasked Chris with finding the wedding band. She knows he has a band in mind and so it was his duty to hire them and to hear samples of their music to see if it would fit their wedding. Only Chris doesn’t want to sample their music. He wants to hire them outright and it’s Amy that has to convince him to test-run these people. She wants to make sure they’ll be the right fit for the wedding. Amy was also going to be handling the other music at the wedding.
She wanted to handle the dinner music and the music to greet people. It meant the band wasn’t really going to be the focus and so Chris’s part is still quite small in the scheme of things. All he has to do is show up on the date. The two of them were still dithering about where to have the wedding and Matt was getting antsy.
Matt wanted to know if it was going to be on the farm or not. He was glad to host them if it was. If it wasn’t, then he had to know so that he could book another event. Matt and Chris have gotten close. They were turning into friends and Amy didn’t like it. Amy thought it was weird to have her new husband be friends with her ex-husband. Like yeah, they have joint events because they share children and grandchildren only she didn’t want the two men to become friends. She wanted to be friendly and to leave it at that. Amy and Chris were discussing it as Tori and Zach were celebrating a milestone. The two of them were celebrating the tenth anniversary of their first date. Zach had remembered it. Tori hadn’t.
Tori had needed to be reminded by Zach. It was important for Zach because that was the start of their love story and so he wanted to celebrate it. He wanted to leave the kids with his dad and with Caryn and go have dinner with his wife. The two also discussed their kids. Their daughter Lilah had needed to wear an eye patch as well as glasses to help correct her eyes because she has a wandering eye and so they have constant doctor appointments to check up on it. Their son Jackson didn’t have any doctor appointments lately. His doctor wasn’t worried about his legs bowing. The doctor said to give it a year and they’ll reassess. As long as it doesn’t hurt him then it was okay. Jackson was just an adorable toddler.
He used his adorability quite effectively. He would be very cute when he has a nightmare and he asks his parents if he could stay with them. Tori would readily agree. Then Jackson would practically sleep on top of Zach and evade his space and Zach would just sleep through it and it wouldn’t problem until Jackson accidentally breathes on his mother and she sends him back to his room. Jackson was still cute, though. He also loved the farm and Zach loved watching him on the farm. It made Zach and Tori genuinely consider moving there. There were other times when they thought it might not be worth it but they can’t change their minds and the ball in their court. They were the ones that have to decide and to tell Matt what they decide.
Matt was giving them plenty of time. He was building his log cabin. It’s something he always wanted to do for fun because he couldn’t do it before with Amy co-owning the farm and so now he was enjoying himself. It was such a Matt thing to do that Zach just rolled his eyes at it. Zach asked his father to watch the kids as he planned a date night with Tori and Matt agreed. Only those kids are rambunctious. It was one thing to spend time with them as grandpa and Cha Cha and it was another thing to watch them overnight because kids really do come alive at night. They’re like werewolves in that sense. Jackson was also developing a sassy side and he told his mother to drop him off and go away when he spent time on the farm.
Jackson also knew he could get away with more at his grandparents. So, he was definitely enjoying his time over there and his parents were enjoying their time alone. Zach built a movie screen in the backyard in honor of their first date to the movies. He borrowed a projector and they got to go to the movies again. They also discussed the possibility of a third baby. Tori seemed open to it and Zach said they could start trying right away.
THE END!
