In tonight’s Little People, Big World episode, Zach and Tori are pregnant. They found out early and they told their children. Jackson understood because he’s a toddler while Lilah didn’t really get it because she just turned one. Jack and Tori hadn’t told either of their parents. They were still keeping things hush and so the focus was on the wedding.
Amy and Chris are getting married. Amy is handling all the details and she was in charge of everything and that was an issue because Amy has a timing problem. She tends to drag her feet on big decisions. She did that by moving out of her old house. She did that by getting her new house ready for Chris to move in and now she’s going to do it by getting the save the date cards out on time.
Chris sees how much work a wedding is. He thought maybe they should elope and so he asked Matt about it. Chris and Matt have become friends. It’s a little weird because Chris is Amy’s future husband and Matt is Amy’s ex-husband but somehow the men have built a bond. They built a bond over overstock tips. It then turned into a friendship and now Chris is even going to Matt for advice. He went to him for advice on Amy.
Matt didn’t think Amy would go with the elopement because he once tried to talk Amy into it and she insisted on the big wedding. Matt didn’t say that to Chris. He just let his friend talk to Amy about it and like expected Amy turned it down. The two guys also discussed hanging out.
Matt invited Chris and Amy over to Caryn’s house. Matt built Caryn a new backyard at her new house and he was proud to show it off and so he invited friends to hang out. Chris was all for it. He went to Amy with the idea and she shot it down. She said it was too weird.
She didn’t think going over to her ex-husband’s girlfriend’s house was a good idea and she said as much to Chris. Amy doesn’t want a relationship with Matt outside of their parenting and grandparenting duties. She doesn’t want a friendship with him and she doesn’t want Chris to have a friendship with him. She tried to talk him out of it. She told Chris outright not to be friends with Matt and he ignored her. He pursued the friendship in spite of Amy’s wishes.
Now both couples are having a quiet Valentine’s Day. They were each doing small things at their houses and all the while Zach and Tori were coming up with something big. The couple decided to announce their new pregnancy with Valentine’s messages. They had the kids carry out the message and they waited until after Valentine’s Day to give it because they wanted to give the couples the chance to celebrate the holiday. Amy and Chris had a quiet night in.
They did some backing and went looking through a photo album. But Matt and Caryn had a livelier evening at home and Caryn got to come in to find her house decorated. Matt told her he wouldn’t do anything and then he did. This plus the new deck was her Valentine Day’s gift.
Zach and Tori painted Valentine’s Day Cards. It turned out messier than they planned with two small kids doing all the painting and also Lilah has a special talent for it because she loved painting. She was the loveliest she’s ever been when she’s painting. It wasn’t a good painting but it was cute and Zach and Tori cut out three huts to stick to the painting for each kid and they took the picture over to Amy’s. Amy didn’t have her glasses on.
She didn’t see the message right away because she was too busy telling the kids how well they did on the painting and so it wasn’t until they pointed to the hearts that she realized there were three of them and one said “ baby #3”. Amy then jumped up in joy. She and Chris congratulated the couple.
They also asked if they were going to have a baby reveal. The couple decided they were going to be surprised with this one. They still have Jackson and Lilah’s baby things and so they didn’t need to shop for anything else and they also really wanted to surprise themselves. It was going to be hard with three small kids. Jackson didn’t take well to Lilah at first and so the couple is hoping he’ll do better with the new baby now that he understands more.
Only Amy didn’t like it when the couple took the Valentine’s Day card with them when they left. Zach and Tori had only made one card with the kids and they needed it to pass on their good news to other family members. Zach and Tori next went to Matt and Caryn’s place.
They gave them the card. Matt and Caryn spotted it right away and they passed on their congratulations. They also asked Tori about her intuition. What did she think she was going to have. Tori thought it would be a girl. She also thought it would be another dwarf. It’s supposedly 50/50 because one parent is tall and the other is a dwarf but Tori thinks it will be another dwarf because all of their kids have turned out to be dwarves.
