In tonight’s sMothered episode, Carina jokes with Amy that she is wearing her underwear. They sit and have drinks. Amy thinks her relationship with her daughter is stopping her from finding a serious relationship. She has reached out to an on/off boyfriend Kai to come to visit her in Hawaii. She hopes they can rekindle their love.
Kia arrives to see the girls. They all have drinks while talking. He suggests a date night. She asks if Carina can come. Kai is already annoyed.
Kathy and Cristina hang out. Cristina has been at the pizzeria a lot and she needs a break. Carlo comes in. He needs her to deal with the deliveries. Their employees cannot do it. It is frustrating to see Kathy again. Kathy thinks Carlo needs to figure it out. Cristina and her mom decide to deliver pizza together. They will make it fun.
Lisa combs Lauren’s hair. She recalls combing her hair when she was younger. Lauren is staying the night with her mom after she got into a fight with Laura Leigh. They got into a fight over her relationship with her mom. In the morning, Laura Leigh comes to see Lauren. They talk about communication and their future. Laura Leigh would like to be first sometimes.
Amy and Carina get into the shower. Why not shower together, they think. As Amy gets ready for her date with Kai, Carina questions Kai. She wants to know why he thinks this time will be different. He is trying his best. Carina is nervous she will be left behind.
Angelica and Sunhe have moved in with Jason. He feels like it isn’t even his house anymore. Sunhe has taken over. She is also very pushy about the baby too. They get into a fight about a room he has promised to his mom. When he leaves to get dinner, Sunhe has all of her furies moved in there. He is very angry when he gets back.
Cristina and Kathy hit the road to deliver pizzas for the pizzeria. They dress as slices of pizza. The first couple of deliveries go all right until Cristina falls up the stairs when bringing pizza to one home. The homeowner asks if she is all right. Cristina seems fruitless and embarrassed.
Back in Hawaii, Amy goes to dinner with Kai. They talk about how much they missed one another. She wants Kai to court her this time and love her and make her feel safe. He shares that Carina is a roadblock. Amy shares that Carina has always been there for her. She needs him to be stable. He needs her to make room for him. She feels like she has to choose. She gets up to leave the table.
