Ruth reports to Andre that Audrey stayed with Wilford. She looked like she wanted to. Andre calls Wilford and asks to speak with Audrey. He tells them they will turn around and pick up Mel. Audrey comes to the phone. Andre asks her if she wants to come home. She tells them not yet. They think she has been compromised.
Alex runs after Sykes. She asks about the alarms the night before. Sykes tells her to ask Wilford. Meanwhile, a fight breaks out between the tallies and the Breachman who lost eight of his friends. He thinks they are responsible.
Ruth and Sam talk alone. She tells him how Wilford asked her to step over to Big Alice. She didn’t go but back in the day, she would have. Tess takes a look around a shop, asking around about the button and Wilford. The shop owner talks of a very fancy woman who owned a coat with those buttons.
Andre makes an announcement about being one train, Snowpiercer. They have lost 8 of their own. He mentions Wilford by name. He wants to divide them. Ruth thinks saying that was a bad idea. Zarah disagrees.
Wilford questions Audrey about her loyalty. He wants her to prove herself. He brings her to Kevin who is strapped in a chair. He tells her to fix him. She looks scared as Kevin cries and begs them to leave him alone.
Everyone on Snowpiercer starts to argue following Andre’s announcement. Andre checks on Pike. He isn’t himself. He tells Pike to head back to the Tail. He is a target. Pike isn’t worried. He tells Andre he is marked. Andre feels responsible.
Wilford arrives to see Alex. She is annoyed. He has been busy messing around with his whore. Wilford steps closer to her as a warning. She wants to know why he isn’t keeping her informed. She shouldn’t have acted as an ally to Mel. Now she needs to reprove herself again.
Audrey tries to comfort Kevin. He tells her about the bath with Wilford. She understands. Wilford’s affection is confusing. She tells him he should be happy and not afraid. She shuts the blinds and tells him she is going to help him get back what he lost.
Sam, Tess, and Andre find their suspect, a woman who is working for Wilford. She warns them they are two steps behind. Trouble breaks out in the market. Several men come at Ruth and Zarah. They hide in a compartment. They call Tristan for help. Meanwhile, the little girl named Winnie in their compartment slips out. Ruth heads to save her. In the hall, another fight breaks out. Several people grab Pike and carry him.
Ruth finds Winnie. She apologizes for taking her mom away in the past. She too lost her mom. She wishes she could take it back. She thought she was doing the right thing. She starts to cry. Winnie leaves with her.
Audrey works to brainwash Kevin. She tells him he owes everyone to Wilford. She brings Kevin to Wilford, looking proud. Wilford smiles. She tells Kevin to lick Wilford’s slipper. He does. Wilford and Audrey kiss.
Ruth brings Winnie back to the compartment. She heads with Andre next to help him get back one of their own. Meanwhile, something Tess sees makes her conclude the pastor has something to do with the deaths of the breachman. She confronts him. He admits it was a small price to pay.
At the tail, Andre gives himself up to save one of their own. They all surround him, planning to arm him until Ruth intervenes. She tells them to change their leader don’t mutilate him. At the same time, the pastor tries to have a cohort kill Tess. They fight, while the pastor tries to kill himself. Tess stops him halfway through.
As the train works its way around what they all the corkscrew, many lights their compartments red, calling for Wilford. He calls Alex to see. He tells Sykes to prep Icy Bob. He returns to watch the lights with Alex and Audrey. Alex looks uncomfortable.
