In tonight’s episode called, “Rebirth,” season 6 episode 1 as per the CW synopsis, “As Brainiac lays close to death after trying to stop Lex, Supergirl, and team soar in to save him; Lena enlists the entire team to help stop her brother.”

In tonight’s Supergirl episode, Brainiac is close to death after a trip to stop Lex, Supergirl and the team try to save him but first, they have an epic battle with Gamenmae. Supergirl beats Leviathan. We then see Lex, he is feeling good and shows off some of his skills with Kryptonian. Leviathan is gone, next Lex wants to get rid of all the non-believers, once he fixes this planet he will do what the anti-monitor failed to do, fix every other planet in the universe. Lex uses the Obsidian platform to brainwash half the world into little things he likes to call, “I love Lexi.”
He knew that fixing this planet would require big moves and these people love him and follow him at all costs, no matter all the horrible things he does. Lillian is with Lex and she tells him that he doesn’t have to brainwash her, she already loves him. Then she tells him not to kill his sister, and if he does, she will turn on him and he will be all alone, all the brainwashing in the world won’t help him. Then she asks him to think about his father’s demise, he wouldn’t want to end up like that. She slaps him in the face, lightly, and tells him to save his sister.
Elsewhere, Lena tells Supergirl that the program she was developing was supposed to expand the human mind, do no harm and it was on the Obsidian platform. She thinks Lex re-worked it. Rewiring the human mind so they loved Lex, that’s half the world’s population. Dreamer has a quick dream, she saw Lex as the anti-monitor he was destroying every planet in existence. Lena knows how dangerous her brother is and enlists the entire team; Alex, J’onn, Dreamer, Kelly, and Brainiac to help. Supergirl says that she will buy them some time by offering herself up, even though it is dangerous and risky – she says she is willing to take the risk to save half the population and to stop Lex.
Lillian tells Lex that his sister is still MIA and he should be looking for her. Supergirl calls Lex and she tells him they want him to disable the satellites, in return, he gets her. Lex is tempted, he asks if there are any strings attached. She tells him to name the place, she will be there in an hour, he says the fortress. Afterward, his mother tells him that it is a trap. He says he is taking advantage of an opportunity, he will destroy Supergirl.
Lillian reminds him that while he is doing that her friends will be busy undoing all his hard work. Without Supergirl, her friends are nothing according to Lex, he says he is a God and doesn’t care about the satellites. He pours himself a glass of champagne and tells her that it is time to celebrate.
Andrea is crying, her father blames her for everything. Leviathan hijacking their technology and destroying their company. He said she destroyed his legacy. She sacrificed everything for him, she sold her soul to make Obsidian a success. She will be bankrupt and lose everything.
Martian Manhunter is tense, redirecting those satellites will not be easy. He is worried that his apprehensions will derail them
Brainiac tells Dreamer that he is sorry, she says that he abandoned them, hurt the people who love him.
Lena wants to try to slowdown Lex, she knows she can’t kill him because he is immortal but at least she can do that. She turns to Supergirl and tells Lex is going to try and kill her and she won’t let her turn this into a suicide mission. Supergirl says there is no other choice, she has come to terms with it, she just wants them to stop the satellites. She tells her to take the higher path with Lex, he is going to try and inflict as much pain as possible. Lena thanks Supergirl for trusting her again given everything.
Andrea logs into her father’s computer, we see her screen where she can buy shares to Obsidian North, she says she is sorry father.
It is time for Supergirl to meet Lex, Lena leaves and wishes her good luck.
Brainiac tells Lena that he didn’t know what Lex was up to, he thought he was saving the world. Lena tells him that they need to learn from their mistakes in the past and be grateful that they still have friends who believe in them. Then she says let’s go save the world.
Lex has already knocked over Superwoman, he blasts her with kryptonite. Meanwhile, the satellites are sending waves around the world, but they are not giving up. We see the satellites explode.
Dreamer battles Lex’s mother and her henchman for the only thing that is going to stop Lex, she has the vial and she is on her way to save Supergirl.
Luther satellites terminated, population no longer at risk.
Lex is thrilled, he believes Supergirl is dead, he dances around to “We Are The Champions.” Then, Martian Manhunter appears with the rest of the team, including Supergirl. Lex tells her that he is invincible. He blasts them all and they go flying, the whole team tries to fight Lex. They all fall to the ground, but not Lex, he says this day is just getting better.
Lex is shot with a laser, he holds up a projector and it bounces back at Supergirl, she vanishes and he says he won. Supergirl can be anywhere in the phantom zone. Dreamer found a recording device, Supergirl made her last will and testament, so Lex says. Lex tells the team that if they put her in a cell, he will reveal her identity and she has enemies out there. Lex is arrested and people can’t believe he is a bad guy.
Andrea is thrilled, her company is still in business, her father bought all her shares before the company crashed. She tells everyone to get back to work, they have a paper to put out.
Lillian goes to see Lex, Lena appears in the room.
Brainiac is upset, he says he should have protected Supergirl, Lex Luther lives and its his fault. Dreamer tells him that he was put in a no-win situation. She says when they thought he was dying, he said he loved her and if that is still true, he needs to start engaging with her, even if he thinks he is protecting her. He tells her she is a woman that stops tidal waves, she says she loves him too and no more secrets.
Together the team will keep the city safe and they will get Supergirl back. Len returns myriad but says she used it one more time on her mother and Lex.
We see Supergirl, she is laying down and not moving, there are phantoms all around her.
