The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) recently made a comment that seemed rather ominous. B&B fans know Thomas spent some extra time at the cabin since Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) opted out of a chance at family bonding.
Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) was upset over Liam pushing her away and thought it was strange for him to skip being there for the kids. She was frustrated since she felt like Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) and Beth Spencer (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez) were getting more confused every day.
However, Thomas was quick to point out that Hope could rely on him. He insisted he’d always be there for Hope and that he’d never go MIA. It’s that “never go MIA” part we want to focus on for a moment.
Doesn’t that seem like the perfect setup for Thomas to actually go MIA down the road and raise red flags for Hope? It’s a good idea to take a closer look at the dialogue for clues like this.
For example, Liam said he could kill Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) when he first found out about the paternity test tampering. That was a hint to set up this hit-and-run accident story. Perhaps Thomas is now offering a hint about what’s in store for him, too.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Thomas will soon repeat his vow to find Vinny’s killer and get justice for his buddy. This will become a major goal for Thomas during May sweeps.
It’s reasonable to think Thomas might be the one to figure out Liam is to blame. It’d be the soapiest way to go under the circumstances.
B&B writers have also been highlighting the hatred Bill and Thomas have for each other lately. We’ve heard Bill rant about Thomas the “twisted freak” – and Thomas has complained about Bill being an “egomaniac.”
The Bold and the Beautiful is putting the pieces in place for Bill and Thomas to spar over the cover-up and intensify this war. Just how far will Bill go to keep Liam’s secret? More specifically, just how far will Bill go to keep Thomas quiet?
If Thomas scores evidence that points to Liam – like a recorded confession or something along those lines – Bill might take drastic action. What if Bill kidnaps Thomas and holds him captive to keep Liam’s role in Vinny’s death a secret?
That would fit with the idea of Thomas going MIA after all and leaving Hope fearful that something’s happened to him. Hope might panic over Thomas being in danger – and Liam might panic over Bill adding to their list of crimes!
