The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) hot future is still possible! In an interview with Soaps.sheknows.com, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood offered hope for fans that are waiting patiently for Steffy and Bill to sizzle once again.
Wood suggested Steffy could be just the woman to rein Bill in and pointed out that both characters can sometimes keep their guard up. Bill and Steffy are complex people who bring out the hidden qualities in each other, so Wood thought maybe they were the ideal match if you looked at it that way.
Of course, Steffy and Bill shippers have been rooting for these two for quite some time. Wood and Diamont certainly had some steamy on-screen chemistry – not to mention the idea of Bill and Steffy being together at all is so very soapy!
B&B fans will recall how Steffy turned her life upside down when she cheated on Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) with Bill in 2017. The betrayal cut even deeper than the typical hookup since Bill is Liam’s father.
Steffy also faced a paternity mystery that left her wondering which Spencer man was the daddy, so that caused some great family drama – and family drama is what the CBS soap is known for! There’s always a chance the show could change Kelly Spencer’s (Avalon and Collette Gray) paternity and shake things up once again.
Regardless, Wood admitted she still hears from viewers who would like to see Bill and Steffy have a future together. Even back when Steffy and Bill had their first little dalliance, fans couldn’t ignore the flying sparks. There’d be great potential in revisiting Steffy and Bill in some form, so Wood isn’t ruling it out.
Steffy is committed to John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) at the moment, but B&B watchers know two things if they’ve been watching long enough: 1) no couple stays together for good and 2) pairings tend to come back around sooner or later.
Finn and Steffy’s marriage isn’t even legal yet, so it’s possible their relationship will fall apart and leave the door open for another man to enter Steffy’s life. Maybe Bill could walk back in that door and finally give “Still” fans what they want!
