The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that we have to ask: Will Bridget Forrester’s (Ashley Jones) return ruin Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) happy ending with Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) and burst Hope Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) bubble?
B&B fans know Hope believes Deacon is a changed man and has slowly gotten her mom on board with letting him in the picture. Hope declared that they’re family and doesn’t think anyone can get in the way of that, but more trouble could be brewing.
Hope has no intention of allowing people like Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) derail her dream. They’re all sort of outsiders here, so maybe it’s time to put someone else in the mix – someone far closer to the situation who’s been hurt by both Deacon and Brooke.
This storyline is just begging for a Bridget Forrester comeback, especially since Brooke and Deacon’s betrayal has been mentioned multiple times. Brooke cheated with her daughter’s husband and conceived Hope, so shouldn’t we hear from Bridget now that Deacon’s worming his way into the fam?
If Ridge were smart, he’d be calling Bridget up to use her as a secret weapon right about now. It’d be great to see Bridget on the show again – particularly because her return would be so timely. Bridget would fit right in all this drama and would no doubt have a strong opinion on whether Deacon has changed.
Bridget also needs to be around if Brooke’s going to get back together with Deacon – and it indeed looks like the story could be headed that way. Doesn’t Bridge deserve to weigh in on the possibility of a Deacon and Brooke reunion?
Brooke wants to support Hope’s desire to bond with Deacon, but that could get harder if Bridget returns to object and remind her mother of all her shame. Would a guilt-trip convince Brooke to pump the brakes as far as Deacon is concerned? Bridget could certainly make a few more waves and create some doubts.
