The writing’s on the wall for some erupting passion, so we may have to prepare for a scandal.
B&B fans know Brooke was furious when Deacon first showed back up following his prison release, but Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) has been working hard to help her mom remember what she once saw in Deacon.
The show’s been highlighting Deacon and Brooke’s history through some passionate, powerful flashbacks.
It definitely feels like a way to push Brooke back in Deacon’s direction and set up some cheating.
Hope suggested she knew Brooke’s feelings for Deacon could never compare to her feelings for Ridge, but she also thought there must’ve been some love between her parents.
Based on Brooke’s reflection of the past, there was indeed a deep connection that could be revisited. It’s the perfect storm since Deacon views Brooke as the one who got away.
Brooke is the woman Deacon never got over – and he confessed that he dreamed of a family with Brooke and Hope.
Whether that dream comes true or not, Brooke certainly isn’t known for her faithfulness in relationships. Once a cheater, always a cheater! Brooke has betrayed Ridge before and seems poised to do it again.
It’ll be easy now that Deacon is back in Hope’s life and can show them both he’s truly a changed man.
Hope is standing her ground when it comes to her dad, so Brooke will have to get with the program if she wants to stay part of Hope’s life, too.
That’s inevitably going to mean spending more time around Deacon and will make Brooke susceptible to his charms. Brooke still associates Deacon with shame in some ways since she slept with her own daughter’s husband.
That betrayal brought a painful period in Brooke’s life – and she may kick off another one by falling back into bed with Deacon.
