The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) recently had a big decision to make about her marriage. As Hope wrestled with what to do about Liam, Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) pressured her daughter to forgive the serial waffler for his cheating.
Brooke even went as far as to suggest Hope shouldn’t let pride get in the way.
Later, Brooke talked to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) about Hope just HAD to forgive Liam. She’s acting like saving the family Hope and Liam have built together has to come first. However, many B&B fans have been attacking Brooke for her bizarre Liam loyalty on social media.
It makes no sense for Hope’s mom to basically want the worst for her daughter. It doesn’t get much worse than a guy who rushes off to sleep with his ex-wife after a misunderstanding and then professes his love to her!
That’s exactly what Liam did when he saw Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) kissing the Hope mannequin and never gave Hope a chance to tell her side of the story. Liam slept with Steffy and was all too eager to shift his own loyalty back to her.
Wouldn’t most mothers in Brooke’s position be telling Hope to run in the opposite direction? Hope has had to share Liam with Steffy for years – and if it wasn’t her, it would just be someone else. Liam clearly has commitment problems and that’s the real issue here.
Brooke is invested in Hope and Liam fixing their relationship, but she’s just begging her daughter to set herself up for more pain. There’s all this talk about not letting pride get in the way, but why shouldn’t Hope have a little self-respect?
Brooke is teaching her daughter to be a pushover who puts up with Liam’s cheating, indecisiveness and total disregard for his marriage vows. Despite Brooke’s own history of cheating and experience with forgiveness, this is one time when we wouldn’t mind her being a hypocrite for her daughter’s sake.
It would be better for Brooke to want someone who can be faithful to Hope and be the kind of husband she needs. That doesn’t mean Brooke ever has to support Thomas.
Brooke could easily be telling Hope there are plenty of other fish in the sea. She should loathe Liam at this point and want him out of Hope’s life for good.

“Brooke should be encouraging Hope to not put up with Liam’s ish anymore. Instead of acting like its 1955 and she has to stay married to him for security,” one fan insisted. “Brooke, it doesn’t matter what you want or think. Hope has the right to do what she wants in this situation,” one more viewer said.
“No she doesn’t have to forgive him,” another Bold and the Beautiful fan argued. “Brooke should want better for her daughter.” “My Brooke deserves so much better than being the waffle king’s cheerleader,” one more B&B watcher said.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Brooke will keep rooting for reconciliation despite Hope’s separation decision, but should she really feel that way?
