The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) could become Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) new right-hand man. Will Carter replace Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears) after blowing his second chance at Forrester Creations? Let’s consider Bill’s dilemma along with the one Carter may soon face.
Now that Justin is dead to Bill, a once strong B&B friendship is over. That alone is a tough blow for Bill to accept, but he also has to think about the gaping hole this leaves at Spencer Publications.
Justin did plenty of complaining throughout his revenge storyline, so we’ve heard all about his many duties at Spencer.
As Justin pointed out repeatedly, he’s always been the fixer. Justin has been called on many times over the years to get Bill out of messes and fix things whenever trouble arises.
Bill is a busy guy who doesn’t like to get his hands dirty if he doesn’t have to. He needs a new right-hand man so that he can continue to hand off his dirty work. Of course, replacing Justin won’t be an easy task for multiple reasons.
Justin was quite trustworthy before he went off the rails with his latest scheme. There was no one else Bill could count on quite like Justin to get stuff done.
Bill’s bound to have even more trust issues now that he’s been betrayed by the person he trusted most. That could make it hard for Bill to nail down a proper replacement.
There’s also the matter of finding someone willing to put up with Bill’s attitude and the outrageous demands he sometimes makes. Bill needs someone who’ll do what he’s told – no questions asked and no pushback given.
What’s Bill going to do now that he’s facing all these challenges? Is it even possible to replace Justin – at least the helpful Justin Bill used to know?
If Bill goes without a right-hand man for too long, he could find himself facing disaster the moment a new crisis hits.
One may already be brewing now that Justin has pledged his allegiance to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), Bill’s biggest rival.
Perhaps forgiveness could still happen down the road, but Justin’s making that more difficult by becoming a Forrester ally.
Even if Justin ends up making amends with Bill someday, it’s certainly not going to happen anytime soon.
Carter could easily become a replacement option if he gets fired from Forrester Creations for violating his agreement with Eric Forrester (John McCook).
Carter’s probably going to find himself unemployed and desperate for work since he can’t stay away from Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer).
Could that lead to Carter getting down in the mud and earning his pay with Bill? Carter might as well since he’s about to ruin his second opportunity at Forrester.
Carter will likely have nothing left to lose, so he may throw what morals he has left out the window.
Carter could enjoy his romance with Quinn and let Bill pay him handsomely for becoming his new fixer. It’d be exciting to see Carter fully embrace his “bad boy” turn and just do what’s best for him.
It might take some convincing since Carter was previously such a respectable man, but his Quinn affair and repeat Forrester offenses might be enough for Bill.
The show could have Carter and Justin swap places in a way. Each company’s formerly loyal employee may become entrenched in enemy territory!
Whatever the case, Bill will have to mull over the vacant right-hand man spot and see if he can find a way to fill it. As other B&B news rolls in, we’ll keep bringing you updates.
