The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) could be gearing up for a fast engagement to Katie Logan (Heather Tom), so fans might hear wedding bells in the new year. Will Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) and Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) face a tough blow as a result?
B&B viewers know this show tends to move quickly when it comes to marriage proposals, so that’s important to keep in mind. However, Carter is a particularly good early proposal candidate since he’s so ready to settle down.
Things fell apart with Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) and then Quinn, so Carter’s already falling fast and hard for Katie. He feels a real connection since Katie shares that desire to settle down with someone who’ll put her first.
Unfortunately, the drama in Quinn and Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) marriage could lead to doubts and concerns on Katie’s end.
If Quinn starts sniffing around Carter again and wants him back, Katie may fear it’s a mistake to let herself get in too deep.
Perhaps Katie will pull back and worry Carter isn’t willing to make the kind of commitment she needs. Of course, that could become Carter’s opportunity to make a grand gesture and prove his level of devotion to Katie.
Carter may fall head over heels to the point that he pops the question and vows to commit to Katie as his wife.
That’s the kind of thing that could infuriate Quinn since she may always carry a torch for Carter. It’d be even worse for Bill to watch Carter swoop in and steal the husband spot.
Naturally, there’s no guarantee the wedding would pan out, but that may not stop B&B from letting Carter and Katie plan one. It may be up to Quinn and especially Bill to make sure the nuptials never happen.
A wedding sabotage plot could get underway as 2022 kicks off, but that all depends on how quickly Katie and Carter’s romance progresses over the next couple months.
