The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) marriage is set to fall apart, so it’s time to start thinking about what that means for their family.
Since it looks like Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) paternity test results will point to Liam as the father, that’s a hurdle too big for “Lope” to conquer.
Liam will find himself facing an uncertain future in the aftermath of the paternity revelation. Although Liam will fight for Hope and their relationship, it’s doubtful Hope will change her mind anytime soon.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers hint that Liam will be stuck in misery without Hope, so B&B fans should be prepared for an extended split.
Of course, there’s always a chance for reconciliation down the road, especially if these paternity test results are tampered with. However, Liam will be looking at a Hope-less path for now.
That means Hope and Liam’s family with Beth Spencer (Madeline Valdez and River Davidson) and Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) will crumble.
Beth is still awfully young and wouldn’t be able to understand an explanation if she was given one. Douglas, on the other hand, will need to hear some kid-friendly version of the situation.
Douglas will need to know that Hope isn’t going to be married to Liam anymore, which could prompt plenty of questions.
Will Douglas wonder if Mommy Hope is getting back together with his daddy? Douglas could easily assume this means Hope and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) are reuniting.
Perhaps Douglas will even get his hopes up about that before Thomas and Hope can explain that’s not the case.
Douglas knows Thomas did some wrong things in the past and ultimately wound up supporting “Lope” in their remarriage.
However, Hope has a knack for explaining things so that Douglas understands. She may get Douglas to see that Liam just isn’t the right man for her any longer.
Douglas has seen Thomas and Hope on better terms lately, so he could make the mistake of believing they’re all going to be a united family again. Thomas manipulated Douglas into becoming part of his matchmaking efforts in the past, but Douglas might take the lead on his own this time!
It’s easy to imagine Douglas trying to draw Thomas and Hope back together. Every little boy wants a live-in dad!
