The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that there’ll be a John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) family bombshell this summer, so did a vengeful relative target Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) for the paternity test tampering? Let’s talk about what’s in store and how it might affect Finn’s world.
In the coming months, fans will indeed learn something shocking about Finn’s family. We also know there’ll be a stunning twist in the Vinny story, which Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will ultimately find out.
Thomas’ discovery will land him in danger, so that may be due to the real killer’s desire to bury the secret.
Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan Martin) has always been fixated on the paternity test angle. He just wasn’t buying the idea that Vinny’s death was a drug deal gone wrong.
Baker has been stuck on the DNA test tampering and the possibility that one of the people affected by it went after Vinny.
What if Baker is right about the paternity test tampering being the motive? It seems likely someone intentionally ran over Vinny before Liam accidentally hit him, but who did it and why?
Since we know some Finn family secret is set to come out, it’s possible someone from Finn’s fam sought revenge on his behalf.
Of course, we haven’t heard Finn talk much about his family, but perhaps there’s a good reason for that. If they’re rather rough people who would do things like take the law into their own hands, Finn may not want much to do with them.
Finn could easily have an estranged brother, father or another relative who was keeping tabs on his life and learned what Vinny did. It’d be better than just making Vinny’s killer some random person.
B&B writers will surely want to give Vinny’s murderer some sort of tie on canvas or else it’ll be a lackluster ending to this story.
Finn got his happy ending with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), but someone nearly robbed him of his child and a future with the woman he loved. Maybe someone in Finn’s vengeful family just wasn’t OK with that!
It’d be interesting to watch Finn deal with that revelation – and it’d keep Finn’s story with Steffy connected to Liam’s story with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle), which is something B&B seems intent on doing.
