The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will find more reasons to spar soon.
After Finn hands down some new rules to prevent Liam from crossing the line with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Liam will lash out. He’ll make it clear that he’s not someone Steffy needs to be protected from.
Even if that’s true, Finn won’t want Liam doing anything that could threaten his relationship with Steffy. That’s why Finn will get riled up when Liam tests the limits of his new boundaries almost immediately.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say another major confrontation is on the way as Liam and Finn vie for Steffy’s favor.
Finn and Liam have definitely become rivals, but will B&B writers find a way to make them allies? At the moment, both Liam and Finn would rather have this baby be Finn’s.
That could change if Liam gets too used to the idea of having another child with Steffy, but he currently knows his father status is what’s killing his marriage to Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle).
Of course, Finn would love to be this kid’s dad – and he almost certainly is based on all the hints about Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) messing with the paternity test results.
Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is already getting suspicious about Vinny’s involvement, but look for those suspicions to keep revving up.
Whether Vinny eventually admits to tampering with the results or not, Thomas will be on edge – and there’ll be other suspicious B&B characters sooner or later.
If Jacqueline MacInnes Wood’s last scenes before her maternity leave air without Steffy knowing the truth, that could leave Finn and Liam with a challenge to tackle together.
Will Liam and Finn put their differences aside to seek the “baby daddy” truth? It’s easy to imagine Finn and Liam separately learning some clues that point to paternity test tampering. There may be some eavesdropping and other hints that cause them both to compare notes.
In the end, it might be Liam and Finn who crack the case as a team – leading the two of them to ultimately confront Vinny and demand answers. Finn and Liam’s rivalry might finally die down as they unite against Vinny as their common enemy.
Naturally, there’s the potential for Thomas to face backlash as well if he keeps Vinny’s actions under wraps! Regardless, we’ll fill you in as other B&B news and updates emerge.
