The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that the mystery of John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will slowly start to unravel. B&B fans begged for years and hoped that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) would finally get another love interest besides Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).
The show delivered in the form of kind, strong and handsome Dr. Finn. He’s basically everything Steffy could ever want in a man, so we’d say The Bold and the Beautiful did well on this cast addition! However, there have been some complaints about Finn seeming perhaps a little too good to be true.
Some of that may stem from the fact that we know almost nothing about Finn outside his love for Steffy. Finn needs to be a fully formed character and not just Steffy’s man!
Fortunately, The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Finn will indeed become more than Steffy’s fiancé and Kelly Spencer’s (Avalon and Collette Gray) stepdad-to-be.
B&B viewers are going to learn more about Finn’s history and figure out what really makes this guy tick. Let’s look at what Tanner Novlan promised fans in the new issue of SOD.
“With this new chapter, we’ll get to learn a lot more about Finn,” Novlan insisted. “The sky’s the limit, and we will get to learn, as the episodes keep rolling out, more and more about Finn’s past and who he is, and through this baby…”
Although Jacqueline MacInnes Wood pre-filmed some scenes to help tide everyone over until she returns from her maternity leave, Steffy obviously won’t be around quite as much in the coming weeks.
Finn will take a bit of a backseat himself in terms of drama, but it’s good to know that new developments are coming up regarding Finn’s history and character development.
Novlan assured fans that things were “really going to be interesting” moving forward, so we’ll look forward to learning more about Finn as he prepares to have a child with Steffy. We’ll offer updates as other B&B news rolls in.
