The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will continue to follow his heart and stand behind Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Finn has vowed to stick with Steffy no matter the paternity test outcome, but B&B’s missing an opportunity for backlash here.
Finn doesn’t have any close friends or family members to confide in, so there’s no one to receive pushback from. What about Finn’s buddies or relatives? Shouldn’t Finn have somebody to talk to about his decision to stay by Steffy’s side?
If this were the real world, Finn would certainly be facing some objections from other people in his life. He helped Steffy after her motorcycle accident and the drug addiction that followed, so Finn’s done a lot for Steffy.
Finn is a total sweetheart who’s worked hard to make Steffy the center of his universe.
Finn also did his best to help Steffy’s brother, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), so he’s been good to her every step of the way.
Sadly, the pull back to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) was too strong for Steffy to resist that night. Finn feels like Steffy regrets what happened, so he’s unwilling to walk away over one epic blunder.
Nevertheless, we can’t ignore the fact that there’s a portrait of Liam and Steffy together hanging in Steffy’s living room. If the paternity test results point to Liam as expected, that’ll bring one more reason for Steffy to reunite with Liam somewhere down the line.
The threat of Liam stealing Steffy’s heart again is always going to be there.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Jacqueline MacInnes Wood’s maternity leave is rapidly approaching, so Steffy will be gone for a while – and it looks like Finn may go with her at first.
However, Finn may not want to leave his job at the hospital for too long. It could be a case where Finn returns home while Steffy stays out of the picture – perhaps to deal with some Forrester International business.
If Finn winds up on canvas without Steffy at some point, it seems like a great opportunity to bring on some relatives for Finn. Could Finn have a bad boy brother or some protective parents who might surface?
Finn might be forced to defend his decision to stand by cheating Steffy and get a warning about Steffy potentially doing it again.
There’d be the potential for some exciting Finnegan family drama. It’s only natural for people who love Finn to see Steffy as trouble with a capital T!
Since Finn is so accepting of Steffy despite her mistakes, the ideal scenario would be for Finn’s loved ones to not be so accepting! Finn might have to sing Steffy’s praises and try to get his fam on board.
