The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will think it’s time to lay down some new ground rules about Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Finn knows that Steffy is a strong, independent woman – and that’s part of what he loves about her.
Finn would never want to change Steffy’s personality or try to control her, but he also knows she has a certain vulnerability when it comes to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).
If Finn and Steffy are going to make this work long-term – and that’s indeed what Finn wants – then it’s important for everyone involved to understand what the doc can and can’t tolerate.
Of course, it’s pretty simple really. Finn is fine with Liam co-parenting with Steffy as long as that’s all it is. B&B spoilers say Finn will know it’s more important than ever for Liam and Steffy to work well together as parents since the paternity results will point to Liam.
However, that doesn’t mean Liam gets to use Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Collette Gray) and this new “Steam” baby as ways to draw Steffy back toward him.
Finn believes Steffy’s sorry about that night and truly wants to put it behind her. He’ll just want to make sure Liam understands that night has to be left in the past, too.
This “Steam” baby exists and nothing can be done about that. Finn will acknowledge that Liam’s the father and will offer reassurance that he won’t try to hinder Liam’s bond with his children. It’s Liam’s bond with Steffy that’ll be Finn’s concern here.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Finn will want to establish some firm rules about what he is and isn’t OK with. For starters, Finn may not want Liam just dropping by Steffy’s house whenever he feels like it. They need to stick to a visitation schedule that all parties involved can agree on.
Whether that “Steam” portrait comes down or not is up to Steffy, so we’ll see if that’s a move she makes for Finn’s sake. Regardless, Finn will set some strict boundaries with Liam and perhaps push for his word that he’s done with Steffy romantically.
Finn will take a stand for himself when it comes to being the man in Steffy’s life and the one she’s going to turn to from now on. As for Liam and any problems he might have in the future, Steffy can’t be his confidant anymore.
Finn will hopefully point that out and get Liam to agree that he needs to find someone else to lean on when the going gets tough. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Finn will draw a line in the sand and clarify what he expects from Liam from here on out.
