The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Friday, April 23, tease that it’ll be time for some real detective work in the Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) case. Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan White) has been asking questions and gathering information, so he’ll share what he’s learned so far with Detective Alex Sanchez (Jeremy Ray Valdez).
Detective Sanchez will help nail down a theory on what exactly happened that fateful night on the road. Baker believes someone likely mowed Vinny down on purpose – and Sanchez should agree this seems like a vengeful, deadly act.
Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) cover-up certainly makes this look like something besides a simple hit-and-run accident, so that part of his plan is backfiring.
Nevertheless, Bill feels he did what he had to do. He’s protecting Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and feels confident he covered his tracks well enough to keep the cops from figuring this out.
However, Deputy Chief Baker and Detective Sanchez may be smarter than Bill gives them credit for! The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Sanchez will speculate with Baker on Friday’s episode, so they’ll have some interesting thoughts on this case.
Baker and Sanchez obviously won’t have all the answers, but they could pick up on some crucial clues that lead to trouble. Liam could easily become a main suspect since Baker knows about the altered paternity test and the role Vinny played in blowing up Liam’s marriage.
In the meantime, Bill will have to talk Liam out of confessing to the police. Bill already stopped Liam from coming clean to Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle), but now it seems Liam will become increasingly determined to tell the cops everything.
Since Liam doesn’t see much hope for a future in this state, Bill’s threats about him landing in a jail cell aren’t doing much good. Liam may argue that’s where he belongs at this point, but Bill will push his son to snap out of it and get it together for his family.
Bill will probably act like Liam’s being selfish when he should be thinking about what’s best for Hope and the kids.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Bill will manage to calm Liam down for now, but another hurdle’s ahead. Monday’s B&B episode will put inquisitive Baker in Bill’s path, so the theory Baker forms with Sanchez on Friday should set that in motion.
