The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Friday, April 9 Recap – Thomas Weeps Over Vinny's Body - Sheik Abdul Gets Bill's Dented Car

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, April 9, reveals that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) felt like he had no life anymore. Liam ranted about being pathetic and insisted that he kept replaying what happened to Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) like a tape in his mind.

Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) felt Liam had to stop and insisted Vinny was dead because of his own stupidity. He argued that the police would investigate if Liam came forward and find out he had a motive to want Vinny dead.

After Bill called Vinny a “dead idiot,” Liam wondered if his dad even cared about Vinny’s demise. Bill admitted “not really” and insisted what he cared about was Liam. He pushed Liam to focus on his beautiful family and put all this out of his mind.

Bill felt the car was the last piece of evidence to finalize, so he got Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears) on the phone. Justin was in disbelief over Bill selling the car, but Bill insisted it was happening. He said he’d been talking to his boy, Sheik Abdul, who’d been wanting the car since the day he bought it.

Bill understood the car was special and one of 50, but he barked at Justin to stop interrupting him. Bill lied that a gardener backed into the car and dented the grill along with the hood, so he claimed to have fired the guy. Since the sheik still wanted it, Bill suggested he was glad to unload it.

Bill told Justin to get in touch with the team and get the car to the Middle East. He wanted it to be Justin’s top priority. The whole time Liam sat behind Bill looking disgusted over the cover-up, but Bill disconnected the call and pushed his son to trust him.

Liam felt Bill was digging this hole deeper and deeper, but Bill insisted Liam wasn’t to blame for what happened to Vinny. Liam felt he wouldn’t incriminate himself if he wasn’t a criminal, but Bill thought that was naïve and that Liam would lose everything if the jury believed differently.

Liam flashed back to when he said he could kill Vinny – and Bill reminded his son he could be charged with premeditated murder.

In the morgue on Friday’s B&B episode, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) told Dr. Ricks (Vasthy Mompoint) that the deceased victim was friends with his fiancée’s brother.

Finn added that Vinny worked at the hospital and filled Dr. Ricks in on the lab tech’s role in the falsified paternity test results.

Finn didn’t have answers about Vinny’s family, but he felt Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) would. Dr. Ricks noted that if Vinny would falsify paternity results and lie to cover his tracks, who knows what other shady stuff he was involved in?

The police might wonder if someone intentionally ran Vinny down. Finn doubted it and wondered who would do something like that.

At Forrester Creations, Thomas tried to talk to Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) about work, but he sensed she was distracted. Hope admitted that Liam canceled their lunch date and was thrown by it.

Hope knew something was off – and Thomas agreed, especially after he found out Liam did it via text. Thomas felt it wasn’t like Liam to blow Hope off without any explanation.

Talk turned to Bill, so Thomas trashed the “egomaniac” with plenty of scathing comments. However, Hope felt like Bill had been awfully supportive lately. She explained Bill’s recent visit to the cabin and the speech he made.

Thomas thought it sounded like Bill was saying to forgive his son or else, but Hope countered that Bill seemed genuinely concerned like Thomas. She once again thanked Thomas for telling the truth about the paternity test results, which led to discussing Vinny.

Despite wanting Vinny to pay, Thomas couldn’t hate him and still viewed Vinny as his best friend. He also felt Hope should reach out to Liam for updates on why he couldn’t make their lunch date. Otherwise, it would just gnaw at Hope.

Since Finn didn’t know Vinny very well, he felt like someone closer to him should make the official ID. Finn called Thomas and admitted he was in the morgue with the body of someone he thought Thomas would know.

Finn assured Thomas it wasn’t a family member, but he couldn’t give any more details until Thomas got there.

Thomas filled Hope in, so she decided he shouldn’t be alone and rushed to the morgue with him. Upon arriving, Dr. Ricks explained that Finn couldn’t tell Thomas who he thought the victim was.

Thomas had to make the official ID, so he thought they should get it over with.

When Dr. Ricks pulled back the sheet on Friday’s Bold and the Beautiful episode, Thomas gasped and cried out Vinny’s name in despair. Hope stood nearby looking shocked and distraught.

Back with Liam, he ranted about cheating on his wife and now this. Liam didn’t recognize himself anymore, but Bill assured Liam he wasn’t a murderer. Bill added that he was the one who made the decision to leave Vinny and destroy the evidence.

Bill wouldn’t let Liam rot in a cell, but he insisted that Liam had to do his part and behave normally.

Bill insisted Vinny was a “low-life, drug-dealing criminal…a bad guy!” He argued that Liam was a good guy, but Liam didn’t think so. Bill shouted that Liam had to protect his family at all costs, which meant putting what happened with Vinny out of his mind forever.
