The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Friday, August 20, tease that Jack Finnegan (Ted King) will enrage Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) as these secret ex-lovers face off. Meanwhile, lonely Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) will realize he must carry on and try to put Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) behind him.
Jack is juggling some big secrets, including some that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) don’t know about.
B&B fans will recall that Jack claimed Sheila reached out when Finn was a baby, but that wasn’t the truth.
Jack knew about Sheila being the birth mom from the get-go since he hooked up with her and is Finn’s biological father.
That part of the story isn’t set to come until Monday according to the latest spoilers, but we’d say the bio dad shocker sounds like a great Friday cliffhanger.
Regardless, Finn will approach Sheila with a warning to stay away from his family. He’ll think it’d be better for everyone if Sheila just left LA and never looked back.
Sheila will refuse to walk away from this chance to know her son and grandson.
Sheila will dig her heels in when it comes to Finn and especially Hayes Forrester Finnegan, who Sheila hasn’t had an opportunity to meet yet.
Jack’s going to be furious when his former flame pushes back with vicious threats, so this showdown will definitely bring drama. Speaking of drama, there’ll be more of it for Carter as he struggles alone.
Carter will tell himself he did the right thing by giving Quinn a nudge back in Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) direction, but that means he’ll have to pick up the pieces of his broken heart on his own.
There are plenty of fish in the sea, but Carter should find it difficult to let go of such a special connection.
Carter will continue to want what’s best for Quinn, but carrying on without her will seem daunting in this somber moment.
On Quinn’s side of things, she’ll have to pretend she’s all in on her future with Eric when part of her heart still belongs to Carter.
Quinn is once again lying to Eric, so this seems like a recipe for disaster – one that could end “Queric” for good down the road.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Eric may keep noticing Quinn’s odd behavior, so she’ll have to rein in her emotions.
