The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, August 27, reveals that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) slapped Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) after threatening jail – and then Jack Finnegan (Ted King) dragged John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) birth mom out.
At the cliff house on Friday’s B&B episode, Steffy was livid over the scene in front of her. “What the hell is this?!” Steffy exclaimed as Hayes cried in Sheila’s arms. She ordered Sheila to put Hayes down, but she ultimately took matters into her own hands by grabbing Hayes herself.
Steffy snapped that she was going to put Hayes in his crib and then she wanted some answers.
While Steffy was gone, Sheila suggested to Finn that she could appeal to Steffy – mother to mother. She hoped she could get Finn out of the mess she’d gotten him in.
Steffy returned and explained that a bad feeling caused her to bail on the trip.
Even so, Steffy never expected to walk in on Sheila holding her son. “You had one job! To keep our child safe! You said you understood!” Sheila shouted to a guilty Finn.
Sheila urged Steffy not to be angry with Finn for giving her that moment with her grandson. Jack piped up that if Steffy was going to be angry with anyone, it should be him.
Jack explained that he talked Finn into letting Sheila hold Hayes, so Steffy demanded to know why.
When Steffy got updates on Sheila’s promise to leave town after this, she griped about how naïve Jack and Finn were.
“Promises don’t mean a damn thing to her!” Steffy yelled. She thought it was bull that Sheila would meet Hayes and then be gone forever.
Sheila vowed to do what she’d promised – though she talked about how hard it was to walk away from Finn all those years ago.
Now everyone was asking her to do it again. Mother to mother, Sheila hoped Steffy could understand how much she needed to see Finn once more and hold Hayes.
Steffy was appalled over Sheila even saying that after what she did to Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo). She thought Sheila thrived on trouble, but Sheila reiterated that she planned to leave – that Steffy was never going to see her again. “Unless perhaps maybe one day you’ll find it in your heart to forgive me,” Sheila said.
Steffy replied that there was no chance of that happening and added that Sheila would never see Hayes again. She ranted that she could’ve come home to find both Finn and Jack dead with Hayes gone. Steffy felt it was unforgivable for her to walk in and find this criminal holding her baby.
Sheila brought up how Steffy worshipped her namesake, Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery), but Stephanie wasn’t kind to her. Steffy ranted about Sheila turning things around and trying to manipulate as usual. She called Sheila evil and hoped none of that sickness was in her son.
“Sickness?!” Sheila said, practically gasping in shock. After Sheila vowed to stay away, Steffy said she’d better.
If Sheila didn’t, Steffy vowed to call the police and send Sheila to jail. She insisted they were getting a restraining order, but Sheila felt it was harsh to want her behind bars.
Steffy thought Sheila had weaseled her way back into the family and didn’t think she cared about Finn or else she would’ve reached out long before they got married. Sheila argued that her motivation was love, but Steffy urged her to prove it by never contacting Finn again.
Steffy insisted that Finn was a good and honest man who had never let her down. “Well, until now,” Steffy said with a glare in Finn’s direction.
After Steffy ranted about Sheila being a monster with no feelings, Sheila countered that she indeed had them. Steffy fired back that homicidal ones don’t count and ordered Sheila to leave the house along with Jack.
When Sheila hesitated, Steffy slapped her across the face and warned Sheila not to dare try to take anyone she loved away from her. Jack eventually dragged Sheila out the door – leaving Finn to tell Steffy he was sorry.
At the cabin, Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) surprised Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) by coming home early and revealed that they’d just rescheduled the San Francisco trip.
Since the kids were gone until after dinner, Liam thought a steamy reunion was in order – even though Hope didn’t really go anywhere.
Once Hope donned some lingerie and got quite a reaction out of Liam, she suggested she should almost leave town more often.
Hope pushed Liam back on the sofa for lovemaking – and afterward, they talked about how they enjoyed when their days took an unexpected turn like this.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Steffy and Finn have plenty more conflict ahead of them, so stay tuned.
