The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Friday, December 24 Recap – Eric’s Special Drink for Brooke – Taylor’s Big Announcement

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, December 24, reveals that Eric Forrester (John McCook) had a special drink for Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) while Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) made a big announcement. Here’s how things went down in B&B’s Christmas Eve episode.

At the cabin, Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) confirmed that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) would join the family gathering as soon as she could.

Hope beamed as she explained to Douglas that she was going to celebrate Christmas with her father first.

Once Hope was alone, Deacon showed up and put a couple of presents under the tree for the kids.

Deacon also had a gift for Hope, who felt bad since she had nothing for her dad. However, Deacon assured Hope that spending time with her like this was the best gift of all.

Hope wished she could do more, so Deacon suggested they would indeed do more next year. He asked Hope to give Brooke his best at the main party and once again promised not to blow the second chance he’d been given.

At the Forrester mansion, Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) approached Brooke to hint at a truce. She wanted to talk before they set each other off, but Brooke declared they wouldn’t do that – not today. Quinn smiled and replied that it was a deal.

Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) was glad that Hope didn’t invite Deacon to the main gathering and was in the holiday spirit. He sat with Beth Spencer (River Davidson) and Douglas while Brooke read a Christmas story, so there were some cute kid moments.

Eric was exceptionally lovey-dovey with Quinn, who gladly kissed him under the mistletoe. At one point, Eric brought over a glass of bubbly – just for Brooke.

Eric explained that it was a nonalcoholic Champagne that had been recommended to him, so Brooke tried it and said it was delicious.

Ridge took a sip as well and declared that you’d never know it wasn’t the real thing! This is setting up a plot twist that’ll come during the week of December 27-31, but it simply allowed Brooke to join in the holiday toast for now.

After Hope joined Liam, he was happy to hear her visit with Deacon went well. Douglas and Beth opened up some presents while Ridge gave one to Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor).

Quinn also had some Christmas crackers to pop open, so that gave Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) and Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) some holiday hats.

Eric eventually played the piano while everyone gathered around to sing Jingle Bells in a warm moment.

At the cliff house, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) still couldn’t believe Taylor convinced her to invite Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) to their get-together.

Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) had questions as well and didn’t seem to think this was the best idea.

Taylor felt like this was the best way to avoid feeding Sheila’s obsessive personality. She also thought it would give her an opportunity to study Sheila in a safe setting and see if her old enemy was truly reformed.

When Sheila arrived, Finn wished her a merry Christmas and embraced her. Steffy stood there looking agitated, but Sheila thanked her for the invitation and thanked Taylor for encouraging it.

After Steffy cornered Sheila, she made the rules clear. Steffy said Sheila would get one drink, a few minutes with Finn and a few minutes with Hayes Forrester Finnegan (Piper Harriot). She didn’t want Sheila trying to stretch this out and turn it into anything more.

Sheila understood the plan, but she assured Steffy that she would win her over. After Finn said Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) was with Jack Finnegan (Ted King), he admitted they were trying to work things out.

Sheila felt like this was a great time of year for healing and understanding. After so many years alone, Sheila was glad to finally be celebrating with family.

As for Taylor, she decided to make a big announcement and revealed that she would be staying in LA. Taylor felt she needed to come home for good, so Steffy and Thomas were thrilled.

Sheila was grateful for a chance to show she had changed. She pointed out she was a different person back then, so Taylor suggested that they both were.

Steffy asked if Sheila wanted to hold Hayes, so Sheila replied that she’d love to. Although Steffy tried to offer a little smile, things were awkward as Sheila cuddled Hayes and kissed his head.

Finn was touched at the sight of his mom with her grandson, but Steffy still seemed uncomfortable.

Sheila eavesdropped as Taylor talked to Steffy about Ridge, but Taylor ultimately decided to focus on Christmas with her kids. Since the turkey was almost ready, Sheila took that as her cue to leave.

Sheila felt she had imposed long enough, but she made a speech about making a memory that she would never forget.

This was the best Christmas that Sheila could remember having in a long, long time.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Sheila won’t be able to stay out of trouble for long, so don’t miss what’s in store.
