The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers recap for Friday, February 19, reveal that Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) waited for an answer from Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) in the backstage area at Forrester Creations.
Paris told Carter that she believed that Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) really loved him. “But the real question is whether you believe her,” Paris said.
Zoe asked Carter not to lose faith in her, and she said that she had been confused. Zoe cried, saying that the men in her life had all let her down, and that she should have realized that Carter was different. “I don’t want to take this ring off – I want to be your wife,” Zoe said.
Carter replied that Zoe broke his trust, and that he needed time. Carter thanked Paris for her honesty. “That’s all you’ll get from me,” Paris said. Carter returned the favor, saying that Paris should be careful of Zende Forrester Domingez (Delon de Metz). Carter walked off.
After Zoe left, Zende and Paris talked, and Zende thought that Paris seemed disappointed in him. Paris said that Zende shouldn’t have flirted with his friend’s fiance, but Zende said that it wasn’t like that, and that he hated that he hurt Carter. Zende also said that he didn’t like feeling that he lost Paris’ respect.
Zende wished that they could start over, and he acknowledged that he and Zoe didn’t show the best sides of themselves. “I hope that Carter gives Zoe another chance, and I really hope you’ll give me one too,” Zende pled.
Over in the CEO office, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) talked briefly with Eric Forrester (John McCook) about the situation with Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) pregnancy, then about Carter’s problems with Zoe. Later, Ridge was sketching when Zoe walked in and wanted to talk.
Zoe told Ridge that she messed up with Carter but that she wanted to make it up to him. Zoe went on, saying that perhaps Ridge could talk to Carter on her behalf. Ridge was incredulous, saying that he told Carter to call off the wedding.
Ridge asked how Zoe felt about Zende, and Zoe admitted to getting swept up in Zende.
Zoe explained that she felt like good things and good men don’t ever happen in her life, and that things were moving fast and that she foolishly sabotaged her relationship with Carter. Zoe said that Carter was amazing and that she wanted to be his wife, but that she needed to regain his trust.
Zoe asked for Ridge’s help, pleading with him to talk to Carter as his best friend. “Please convince him to give me and our engagement another chance,” Zoe begged. Ridge didn’t look sympathetic.
At Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) mansion, Brooke and Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) talked briefly about how Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) asked them to talk with Katie Logan (Heather Tom).
Katie arrived, and she immediately wondered what was going on. Brooke and Donna proceeded to urge Katie to think about taking Bill back.
Katie realized that Bill must have put Brooke and Donna up to this, but Brooke and Donna barreled on, trying to persuade Katie to let Bill come home.
Katie said she believes that Bill is sincere in his contrition and his desire to get back together, but that she didn’t know how long his feelings would last. Brooke and Donna said that losing Katie changed Bill.
Katie said that she had spent a lot of her life living in her sisters’ shadows, and that it was devastating to feel that way in her relationship. Brooke said that it killed her to know that she damaged Katie’s family, and she urged Katie to open her heart back to Bill and to let Bill come home.
